--Back to that question on how we chose songs for the audition. If uncle sam didn't remember wrongly, we asked Nic at that time what song he was familiar with; we then tried playing that song as a band with him singing the lead. Sounds fine, all agreeable, lets go! Perhaps that was the simpliest way. If it doesn't work for you, maybe you can try.. Band discuss and narrow down to a genre that all is comfortable with, then choose from there. Most importantly, all of you must enjoy what you're gonna perform, only then you'll be able to give your best. --Just my opinion, not sure-win ya. Jia you! =)
How was everyone's day? Mine was simple. Nic, WeiQi and i met up for lunch.. Then in the afternoon, i walked around a bit with my sis at Clarke Quay. Evening, went to church for service. I guess most of you know that today's a significant day for us Christians..

guess my opinion's that, choosing a song everyone's comfortable playing with will be the best choice.. perhaps what ya guys did was good, but maybe just gotta make sure that everyone can get used and get comfy to th song and all, so that it's easier to show a more real side on stage and avoid mistakes? well, opinions la.. goodluck to whoever's trying out!

just a question, does the cheers and singing along of us fans at performances add on to confidence? not sure how to phrase it, but perhaps something like, whether you guys do feel more at ease performing knowing there're people down there who actually do know your songs and are singing along? ha, not sure if ya understand my question though. :P

somehow after my block tests i found a way to destress! and i went to watch all the videos of mlb during the superband days from big jam to the GF. haha, crazy, but then i really enjoyed watching all of them again (:
and as i was watching, my sister asked me why i like mlb so much. i didnt answer her because i think i dont have the answer either. i was attracted to milubing only during QF7, when they sang shen bian (i noe abit late,haha), but omg, i was seriously glued to the song :)
and since then i will try to catch any show that they will be appearing in
anyway the above are all random thoughts, somehow i just feel like typing them down :) just want to let mlb know that they are not just a singing group. they have become a motivation for me. and for that i think i want to thank mlb (:

Saw SAM's pic on Tioman. It is so long ago that we sailed to Tioman on a fishing boat and stay in kampung house. Day in a day out can only wear swimming gear 'cos we will jump into the sea so very often and changing into dry clothing is a hassel. We cook our own food. By the time we got back to S'pore, we are all burnt and 'peeling'. Must find time to go back and rough it out again in a kampung and not hotel.

okie, i'll find out and post ya.. no worries.. pon class? cannot la.. in JC i used to pon lectures, until it became a habit..everytime when there was econs lecture, the whole bunch of us would go canteen to 'nua' or eat breakfast.. seemed fun then, but now looking back, i deserved the 'C,D,C' grades for my 'A'levels. Recently a friend told me to calculate how much each hour @ school costs to your parents and think how much $ of theirs ur wasting. That could work as a motivation, but I'd rather ask myself what do i want when i graduate and if it allows me to repay my parents with the love they showed me. dun mean to preach here, but tot i'd share something i've learnt in life(the hard way).

Cos I pon a few times during year 2. No, not because I want to nua. More of because I rather stay at home to study for the afternoon paper.
