able to play ard with those design or editing softwares seems really cool and fun to me. but i dun have the design de tian fen so carn really get anything out even if i have the programs. haix.
HI WQ,dunno where to start w ure hmwk? recently joined an arts enrichmt class & i also find i dunno where & how to start for each project. so wat i did was to kpo round my classmates, see wat they r doing, how they approach their wk. it's amazing how much u can learn or get ideas when u go kpo ard ure classmates. esp if they r v helpful, they give u tips on how to get started. of cos, bouncing ure ideas off the teacher oso helps. so...hope u can find inspiration to start some of ure hmwk this way. hee u oso feel the (healthy) competition wn u kpo rd, it gives u the extra push u need to start!
sam, i v sua ku never been to punggol beach b4. why u never take pics of the beach to share w us? mayb lighting not enough at nite.

Punggol Beach: No Man's Land
"Before the current Sengkang & Punggol New Towns were developed, Punggol was an area filled with pig farms. Up till the 80's one could take the long straight road all the way to the end of Punggol to enjoy the famous seafood by the sea. The tip of Singapore's northeastern coastline was also where one could take a ferry to Pulau Ubin.
Today, all these have gone, including the old People's Association campsite. What's left is a cleaned up beach that's almost deserted, perhaps due to its inaccessibility and little knowledge of its existence.
The road leading to the Punggol Beach is a one lane but two-way road flanked by dense vegetation on both sides. Except for some occasional vehicles and joggers, this road is pretty much deserted. About halfway along the road, there is a fish farm. Bus number 82 is the only public transport that plys this stretch of road. At the end of the road is home to the Punggol Beach which is also one of the World War II sites"...

"mmm..today was great having some time to Jam,but we're not 100% happy with wat we came up with today though it's a draft.Need to polish further.Regarding the leather and black ink thingy,quite sorry dun have advice to give u cos i've not come across such a situation myself.Wat i know is that permanent marker's black ink is not black on such surfaces like leather,but a shiny deep purple,so it's dangerous to use that.Maybe go look for leather paint/dyes that are meant for shoes?think that might be more effective. :) Back to my werk! Common Sense
Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, life isn't always fair, and maybe it was my fault.
Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you earn) and reliable parenting strategies (adults, not children are in charge).
His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a six-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.
Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job they themselves failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer Aspirin, sun lotion or a Bandaid to a student, but could not inform the parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.
Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar can sue you for assault.
Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.
Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by three stepbrothers; I Know my Rights, Someone Else is to Blame, and I'm a Victim.
Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.
