Was in class yesterday, didn't get to do much moon watching last night...but had some fun in my office. We have quite a big celebration here. With mooncakes and quizzes.

Punggol... remembered that I spent quite a qty of time there during my childhood period... when it was still filled with swamp. Still go there now once in a while. Do you know you can take boat from there to Pulau Ubin??

Mooncake/Lantern Festivals..used 2b exciting gatherings for neighbourhood youngsters to gather 2gether to play with colourful lanterns of diff shapes n fireworks n family members eating mooncakes, steamed mini yams .. with Chinese Tea ..looking at the full rounded moon up in the sky.. but not anymore.. what do the kids do nowadays?..

nahh,no happening zhong qiu jie for me this year... din even see any lanterns or candles anywhere. cuz i din bother to look downstairs or go downstairs to look. was sleeping away at home... wish i had the time and jing shen to go and play~ but nope, too tired lah.

miss the times playing with candles and lanterns! rmb there was one year some kids played w candles and sparklers and ended up causing a small fire infront of our block. and then almost half the block came down in the middle of the night to extinguish the fire.

hope all had a happy zhong qiu jie thou...

and so amazing lah hor, i havent even caught sight of any mooncake in my house yet. =.= [think all in the fridge]

seriously my family don't celebrate mooncake/lantern festival de la. I only held the real lantern (not using battery de) once in my whole life yor. my parents don't allowed me to use the real one cos of fire. haha.

The only time I get to play with the real lantern is when I was in primary 5 I think. That was after a performance then the whole chinese dance group went strolling around the school with lantern...

haha don't be surprise. 我没有童年的 =D...

kampang days. the kids at my area will meet up with other kids then play lantern and fireworks together. and run around the whole block.... o.o so noisy...

It may seems to be veri scary on the way there , but once u reach there u would not feel tat way liao ... cause punggol beach there veri 舒服 one ...In the afternoon u could feel the wind with the sun( the sun there is veri 温和 one), at night u could jus sit down there n relax ... But will fall asleep easily .... cause too 舒服liao... I catch jellyfish there too ...haha... veri fun ... don know now there still got jellyfish not ... I use to walk there from sengkang ... if u don enjoy walking then u will find it a bit far ...hehe... berries after our exam we go pungol beach together ??I want go there find jellyfish !!! haha!!! veri fun ...

My Mid-Autumn festival indeed quite fun, celebrate/working in sch though. with children dancing chinese dance, singing songs/poems related to 八月十五, 嫦娥 invited to the party last night too. [if anyone here happens to pass by newton road, will be able to see lady in the moon dancing on the pedestrian bridge. lolxx.] den later had dinner at newton circus and played lanterns with sis, had mum's mooncake at home. =D

anw, ytd's moon not tt bright and round though, best time is at 3.45am on thursday. haha!

the photos contrast is nice. Esp the amber lights taken at night, most probably with using handphone right?

oh, by the way, there is a photographic rule that says when we take photo, we cannot tilt it at such an angle. Can take tilted photos but not at the 45 degrees angle cause it will not look nice. try tilting slightly more than or less than 45 degrees and see the difference!
