Hearty congratulations once again. You all have done us proud and Yes yes yes... MLB managed to revive! Hooray.

Having said that, i couldn't help but touched by the display of bonding and friendship that was shown so clearly on TV last night. The blessings and well wishes by other bands, especially Juz B, truly displayed the spirit/values of friendship surpassing the importance of winning this competition. I am glad you guys have such friends/competitors.

Very touching moments and moments i bet you guys will never forget.

Continue to show your music talents guys and am sure we will continue to support our favourite MLB.

Yup, mentioning about yesterday's results show, so touching. Can see that all other 9 groups are so happy for you. Milubing must continue to work hard ok? Being the champion of superband is not a must (although we would love to see milubing becoming the number 1), but more importantly don't be too stress ok? Frankly speaking your performance at revival round is so impressive that my reaction is, after a few weeks of 'mi lu' period, milubing has finally 'not mi lu le'! Keep going k?

realise my feelings ar vy mixed--
on one hand, very happi
very excited
vy relieved
tht MLB is IN.
yet wonder what will happen
down the road
and how commericialism
will affect, influence
or impact the sunshine boys.

i guess i dun want them
to become a packaged product.
grow, yes,
they must and will grow musically,
yet maintain their musical integrity.
well, the future is not in our hands
so i will just trust.

guys, you give a rousing performance
you didnt crack under pressure!
but you took the curve ball and
threw it back!
and did it with such flair and fun--
that to me, is the miracle!

just a lil comment abt jackets:
i thot the jackets wr a little too
big and loose
and didnt tie in with the playful image.
if you like the converse(?) jacket,
maybe pair it with baseball cap, jeans, and T (for one guy, say Sam), then for Weiqi who's playing the mean guy, he can put on somethg with a tougher image--denim jacket, jeans and T, and baseball cap, and for Nic, the down and out guy, he can wear a T, 3/4 pants and hi-tops.
well, just my two-cent worth of opinion...

sigh, next week dun be able to watch superband Monday (cos' i am away in some place--hear thr's no internet facilities). could some kind MLB supporter post the judges' score and comments on the blog (for all those sunday fans waiting anxiously by their pcs, and for me, pleazzzz? thank you! kamsa hamnida! merci! selamat po! xia xia!!!)

Yup, was thinking no point watching if no MLB then will have more time for other stuff.. but I was really happy yesterday..

Yesterdays performance was superb but I am hoping that Nic can try to sing normally without shouting and distorting his voice too much. If not shout too much sure shi sheng one.. and can try to project his voice (cuz sound abit like want to get out but cannot come out sometimes).. hope you dun mind the criticisms :)

yesterday's performance i could use one word to describe-SUPERB. its really nice and i love it a lot :) the patterns came in the right place, the feel and all of your facial expressions and stuffs, they were all so RIGHT! great job MLB! now that you guys got in, give it your best again for next week's performance alright? know you all got to crack your brains again for ideas, don't tire yourselves out!

Hmm forgot to add that...

I think the performance on Sun night was fantastic cos it was really innovative and unconventional. I liked the way Nic chose to lie down and sing, though it was certainly not an easy feat. Well done!

And then the last part when he said "等一下！我还没有唱完！" it connected life to the entire performance. Well done!

Also liked the part when you guys stuck paper on your backs proclaiming "B3". Though at first I felt so much movement made it quite confusing. But well done nonetheless.

ha, thanks! Chinese is always my passion so I make it a point to study as much as I can. :) S'poreans very fortunate liao le. Chinese consists of 7 types and in the past, China ppl have to learn that. Chinese writings, literature, paintings, speech, histories, the four teachings etc. And S'poreans learn only 2 - speech and writing.

Hmmm..i've thought of the storyline for the next drama le..and I'll marry them off in the last drama this very week! Wahaha.. Shiok sia..

Hmmm..well, in my opinion, Milu Bing is talented so it's staged for them to win. And it became so because they proved themselves to the professionals that they can make it. And obviously media side must choose a gd band so will not waste $ grooming a band that will not flower. Money making is obviously a must as the production hse chipped a lot of $. However, Milu Bing is not money-making machine for mediacorp though it seems so. 'cause even in future, if Milu Bing cut an album, all the profits goes to their efforts and the professionals who put a finger in it. The reason why a lot of money is involved is because talent can never be bought. Media involves the artistic realm and the efforts, creativities and professionalism are worth more than the price ppl r willing to pay.

So even though I know that they will still score an ace, I'll still vote 'cause it's a form of support for their efforts put in and my money for the votes are enough to repay for their performances. :)

And musicians are made stars because they are talented ma!or else how to stay long in this industry? They are musicians that are recognised. Looks also have their limits in helping stars to go far, in the end, it's all abt talent.

I'm the matchmaker ma.. k la, let them take time to understand each other. I shaln't stand in the way.. Hmmm....I didn't get the chance to film sch. So I DIY and found out that going to film sch is somehow wasting many years. It's faster to learn hands on in the job. Very tough environment but it's polishing up your skills faster than those frm film sch. you'll be surprised that they are really "fresh" frm the oven! but still, I will want to get into one film sch and get a better foundation in scriptwriting and producing. Without a proper foundation, it takes longer time to upgrade to the Above-the-line team(creative team). And this S'pore la, certificate based loh.. anyway, most ppl proved that cert is not in the way of ppl in this line. like what I said media is the artistic realm not something cert can determines.

oh..Shifu taught Milu Bing when they were young. They are the church musicians. :) heard that church has lots of young talented musicians.

To nofate: Watching live recordings is very very fun! Although watching at home is more comfortable, but nothing beats the 'atmosphere' that is created by the groups (including our milubing) - don't think you can experienced that at home. And you also get to know that actually one hour of telecast takes nearly three hours to record lor. After each group has perform, there will be about 5 to 10 mins break in between for the groups to get ready - sound check, move their instruments and a lot more. All this has been 'cut' away and apparently were not shown on TV. Haiz, really salute the people working backstage liao.

oyster: go for yr dream! i find film production vy fascinating. one day, in a clinic or waiting for somethg, thot of a short movie called "waiting". abt Bangledash workers and their families..how they spend their time waiting...children waiting for their fathers to return, their papas sweating in spore, waiting for letters, phonecalls, savings to rise...and there will be no dialogue. their faces and postures tell it all....

2.4km run [Reply]

ah, to those who failed 2.4km run, pls ah, go run 2.4km at least once a week. Or else after you graduate, all your body will be out of shape ah. Flabby muscles ar. then hormones unstable and might result in freckles growing on ur face. Then, you will pant easily. Metabolism rate decline and you will feel col easily. Drinking water b4 a run is very"heavy" try sipping a few mouthful of plain water b4 running. Milo Bing is an energy drink, and your body will feel heavy after consuming it, not good and fast for running. Last time I skipped my meals when competing in a race. then slowly sip water after race. too much of water after running may cause a drastic change of body fluid and eventually cause death. (depends on how your body take it too..)

-when i was a student, some frds wanted to cycle to P. knowing tat it wld be a very tough ride (we left at 5.15 am and arrived at 9 am), i practised on the biking machine almost daily to bld stamina. boring, boring, boring. but when i thot of the goal, i kept at it. in the end, we made it. but it took weeks of practice, and lotz of discipline.
if u thk i am that sporty kind, ha ha, i am well known as a bookworm.

2.4km run sounds so looongg ago.. haha.. gettin old oso le.. get frens to run together, go run in parks rather than on treadmills.. makes running a lot more fun..

oyster u are filmmaker -in the making...hahaa im so excited..my fren's hubby too..his got many short films to his name, overseas entry too....exciting that we're all in the arts...me too. i must ask u how to convert my video tapes into vcd/dvds..so i can keep all the episodes of superband since qf6..

Actually the most important thing is not to pass well (must pass la, this is the only test that i think you don't have to aim high high), but rather, whether you are consistent or not. You need not run fast, but do not stop. Even when you are tired, legs numbed you still can't stop...unless you really can't take it anymore la. Anyway, the whole process will be very torturing, but its only when you keep running/jogging AND finish the race, you will realised that it's not bad afterall.

I always need to have a few attempts before I pass. My passing time is 18 mins plus, but I always got 20 minutes plus. So have to retest until I pass. But don't know why (maybe because graduating le la), last year I just keep chiong and chiong, I got 14.53 mins (i will not forget these numbers) for the first try leh. Not trying to be proud la, just wanna share with my sort-of juniors of MLB family.

Remember, don't worry about passing, just got to keep running! Jia you!

Hey Lao chio,
to convert video tape to dvd needs a dvd recorder and also VCR and have to go through a big machine(deck). Don't spend money doing it outside. It's a very cheap process but they charge so high - $12. I can help you. FOC. My company has.

Ha..I've a mini tv on my desk too. hee..No aerial connection though. only can watch DVDs.
No probs Lao Chio, just email me when the superband is over so I can help you do all at one shot. Erm..pass me the DVD or VCD empty disc lor. 'cause company records the no.of stuffs we take. I can squeeze few episodes into one dvd, can record up to 2h, high resolution. :) So what's your occupation?
