it had been a long way, many weekends, many nights spent. Suppers, talkes, bond grew among the supporters, from strangers, becoming friends, shouting for mi lu bing. Doing the patterns off stage. Thank you. Really thank you guys for giving me this period of my life. No matter what happens, You 3 guys have earn my upmost respect as 3 young guys filled with passion for music. I know you guys had tried your best, the fans did their best too but, you will be back on revival. =)

Afterall you guys should know, you guys really gain a lot thru this competition. Just like me. I've learnt a lot along with you guys....

There are fans crying off stage, there are fans dissappointed, but this is competition. Getting booted does not mean you are not good. Your talents are already been recognised. No matter what happens, I'll remember mi lu bing as the 3 guys with the most passion for music that I've met in my life. It's great knowing you guys. Really. =)

Enough said, now, rock the house down on sat yeah!!!! ;)

Hey nic, I do believe MLB is NOT GOING to end just like that. You guys were really great in the way you guys bring the music to us. This stage definitely has a place for MLB. I believe those tears last night, regardless by family friends or fans, those weren't tears of disappointment, for you guys have done a great job this week. I swear I cried like hell too. But I knew that you guys will make it through this Revival’s. I am at a lost of words now though. Alright, time for school. tcare people! :D

Whahaha..Seeing nic u all has recovered makes me sooo happy..Now really got to prepare hard for d revival thingy!But rmb 1 thing!Dun b 2 stressed up!Just relax and treat this thingy as a normal comp and not the revival.Too stress may mess thing up ya?Actually this revival u all got to show ur very best!Cos there's quite a few good teams in this revival.And i think the judges comment was not so good cos all along u all have been giving us so many surprises.And i think they have very high expectations on u all.But dats not a bad thing though cos u r recognised by them rite?Anyway,u all will make it!So dun worri be happy!LOL!Btw, wat song u all gonna sing ah?So gan jiong wan to know.LOL!So jia you hor!Relac hor!Mai stress up!!

ah, broadband! tried to post last nite after result show but cldnt get in (guess mani r posting in too).

and this morning to read this bright and chirpy post from MLB! thank you. wat a relief to MLB supporters that u guys are raving to go.

last nite, vy sad too. cldnt believe MLB was out :(
guess mani supporters also cldnt sleep.

but i am very proud of MLB supporters:
tru the tv show, can hear all the MLB family shouting, "milobing-JIAYOU" and in such unison too! (their timing is as good as the milo boys). their cheers, support at the studio, the fans' support online and offline--wow, i am so proud to be pt of the MLB family!
so dun cry anymor lor. let's continue to support...

i think, the fans of other contestants realised that the MLB fans wld be voting like xiao, so they also voted like xiao, and this counteract the MLB votes.
morover, I think, many schooling fans' resources $$$ are limited so they can only vote to a point. BUt young or old, MLB fans' heart and love is NOT limited. Hip hip hurray for the MLB supporters.

Milobing-milo soldiers--i am so glad to hear yr chirpy tone today. that's the way to go--the battle is not over yet. give yr best. to me, win or lose, u r already the winner. in such kind of contests (SI, Superstar etc), the company is looking for certain thgs, and stimes, the best contestants may not suit these requirements to a T.
I believe the contest gives u guys a chance to try diff stuffs and discover yr musical direction and image alg the way. the journey of discovery is the prize :)

Since Nic is so positive then I shall be positive as well. Milubing ain't booted out yet. I'll take it as we get to see more of milubing. If we don't see milubing for a week then we are going to miss milubing like crazy le. Also, I'll take it as milubing has one more performing opportunity, to train themselves to become better.

You mentioned that you don't want us to shed tears. Ok, agree, but I think i saw Nic's eyes becoming watery yesterday hor? Haha.

it is blessing in disguise cos the revived team always much stronger after that (got live examploes. getting in yesterday doesn't mean anything anyway.

What a good chance for MLB to relief themselves of thes stress now that the "worst" happened and the fans to unite.

I guess everyone doesn't like an overdose of the same stuff. The slow-ballad-entering-into-rock-formula is a rather overused trick which sadly, only worked for guo huo. I watched yesterday's show and couldn't help but admit Brods (B5 right after B4) could have done that song much better cuz they have quite powerful vocals.. and its not even like I ever liked Brods. I din watch the results last night but I guess I noe what happened... sigh

Since everyone is so positive, let me give some less positive comments.. Compared to the other groups who are improving constantly, I think MLB has been rather stagnant. Quite sad lah... mabbe u all think that the 'formula' is very good and stopped thinking of new ideas? i just want to say that although its pretty gd, it doesn't work for every song. I think u can try to convey more emotions thru the songs or inject more humor in ur performances.. put the formulas aside and start afresh (ie. come up with more patterns) and basically do what u are good at.

hope my comments are at least slightly constructive =). Work hard for ur revival song and hope that u will get in due to ur solid performance and not cuz of votes. yupz, good luck and all the best.

Hi MLB Bros, You have been there ! Done it ! And infact did your best so should not have any regrets. Whether you get back via Revival round or not....not important anymore just have great fun during the coming revival round, go all the way !!! Nothing Lose Nothing gain !

MLB, JUZ-B & SOUL are me & my husband personal favourites. For a long time we have not been watching TV programs. But all you guys get 2 of us Uncle and Auntie sitting infront of the TV and watch every Ep of SuperBand which is aridi an amazing thing. The reason We watch Superband and not any other "Super" program or SG Idol is because all your team work amazed us. And most impt all your hard work can be seen.
Now that 2 of our fav are out, we have plan to dial at least 777 calls in the revival round next week to give our support for MLB to be back.

Do your Best and Let your Supporter do the rest.....Most important come up with a performances that are true to who you are. Is not the sound system is the thing in you that can supercede all technical flaws (of course still have to watch out for the technical part)

Last but not least just want to say we are really proud of you....

Watching milubing through all the QFs, I nv fail to witness the hard work, sweat and tears that go into each and every performance. I guess what's so upsetting about you guys being booted out of the competition is that you definitely deserve to be in the top 6! The reality is that this is a competition, and someone has to be out....but an even greater and more powerful reality is that 迷路兵是我们的SUPERBAND! We will transform all our tears to cheers when you guys make it through the revival!

Thank you milubing for bringing me so much joy and laughter...for allowing me to know so many wonderful people...for letting me hear and watch you perform...and for touching my heart with your sincerity, perseverence and courage...

we shouldn't name Mi Lu Bing a "copy-cat group". we should say that they can do what some bands can do and also what some bands can't... *no offence* but i think you should see this in another way instead... their creativity n stuffs, i shall not mention too much as you can see what others are commenting about mlb- their great talents! a 3 boy band ables to play a number of instruments and able to walk to this stage till now is not easy. gaining fans as days passed, etc... i feel that they should be praise and encourage by us instead... well... that's my point of view... anyway i'm just a passer-by.

my 2 cents worth (i quite free at work today...haha ...)

please note that the following are just my personal feelings and are not meant to spark off any debate

I can't say anything about the votes but one thing for sure is that judges' roles are more than judging. They are here to create a smoke screen for the competition. Their comments, although constructive, are meant to influence the general viewers and to create a perception for each grp.

"Pattern" was nvr anything until a judge mentioned it....and then! it became a big thing and suddenly it takes the centre stage and seems to be the important trait....strange

Noticed that the points sometimes don't seem to gel with the comments. I think the points are more or less fixed and do not have anything to do with the performance (unless of course the performances happened to match the points too)
Comments are somtimes trival and contradictory

The points given are tools to help steer the competition the way they want it

The judges comments are meant to influence and steer the audience. Before the judge make any distinctive comment about certain group, no one feels like that. Just when the judge say something, the whole begins to have the same sentiments and that particular group keep getting the bomb for no apparant reason.

Strangely, in all this reality TV program, it is always the low profile (i don't mean anyone in particular, this is a general comment) that quietly gets into the finals unnoticebly....same goes for The Apprentices....it is because they are able to escape the distinctive comments made and general the public does not focus their attention on them, does not hate or love them...thus....smooth...

Well, we have no choice but to subject ourselves to the rules of the game since MLB is part of the competition! We will still vote!!!

i therefore, urge everyone not to take this too hard and get too upset if things don't turn out our way...we will try and make things the way we want though.....

wow, i didnt know there was revival round till i came across to this blog. not much of a MLB fan till i saw the performance on 12/06, the one which has tradition music fused into it, then i was really quite awed and fascinated by MLB. yeah. anyway, since judges are holding 70% of the deciding power, be sure to impress them real hard. and they dont like repeated patterns that much don't they? either come out with better patterns which i'm pretty sure you would or stick to the orignal kinda version of course edit abit here and there. yupps, that's how i feel la. all the best for your revival! i'll try to sneak in some calls for yall alright! Haha, MLB family will vote as hard as possible de. But when i saw some of you say will go and beg parents, i was a little worried. Of course it's very sweet of you for wanting to do something for milubing. But, if your parents don't allow, please don't make them angry ok? Most of us (including me) are students here and we are not financially independent. The reason why our parents get so angry when we dial too much 1900 calls is because they work so hard to earn a living for us. They are the one paying the phone bills not us. Working life is really really tough k? So, if your parents don't allow you to call 1900 lines, don't fall out with them k? Milubing will not want this to happen to our MLB family.
What you can do is, lets say you voted 5 times for them this week, which means you spent $3 right, you should start saving up everyday and make sure that you have $3 by the end of the week. In other words, you can start a 'voting for milubing' fund yourself. When the phone bills came, you just have to pass whatever amount of money you save to your parents for them to pay the bills. Get it? That is what I'm doing now.

Maybe by the end of the competition, you can't kick off the habit of saving money le! haha!

the revival round rests heavily on judges' decision. they have already decided who will be in (more or less). this all for marketabilty and profit making reasons. the best man may not win. yes, the real world is not pleasant. wanna change it? then study hard and fulfil your roles as students first. the future is yours to mould. who knows, you may think like them one day.

in times of emotional upheaval, spend time thinking and analysing. read the posts carefully and you will understand a lot of things.

why was mlb formed?

I'm a first year poly student in one of the polytechnic at the most northern side of singapore. I'm in the same school as i-think-Lucify's Vics. I don't want to name the school as I don't want my identity to be exposed. In my school, we used our laptop to do work. And thanks to the wireless network in my school we can access to internet at time. I don't come here all the time during class la, except for break time (we got 2 breaks) or when i finish my work or when the presentation is boring.

By the way, school has ended couple of hours ago. When we are tired, slack a while is ok ba, as long as we don't neglect our work (and my facilitator doesn't catch me).

i don't agree, i find that the older ple has a liking for MLB but just that they don't really watch and vote....

most of my friends at my age all think MLB is most potential and good....very few are like us la...so young at heart....still mi ou xiang! hahh

Oh..sounds very nice leh.. Yesterday was craving for chicken rice. Ah..now I want to eat big barbeque prawns, pepper beef rice and smoked salmon in jap sauce. hey, the Sentosa in Malaysia hor, have this very traditional stall selling Bak Kut Teh. The soup real solid. Can add the fish maw, Jing Zhen gu, pig's organs etc. Yummy! Then there's this small alley, near the City square shopping mall, have one whole stretch of food stalls. Multi racial. Chinese stalls- best! Big juicy oyster eggs. Fried honey chicken wings. Spicy lala.. Chao Kway Teow, Prawn Noodles etc....cheap too leh..

hee..hee.. Oyster is oyster ma..surely can swim what. or else how to survive in the sea?

It's easy to move around in M'sia. Just need 2 ask the right person and be street smart. Must know their pattern and be smarter esp money. Cannot and never fling money out first b4 buying things. must ask price first then take $ out. That time one sickening bus ticket seller snatched my Rm50 away and shove the bus ticket to me while i'm just asking for the price only. Hey that guy wanna a slap frm me. 1 ticket is sold only for Rm25 lor! He argued that his bus is express bus n is faster. I looked around and see what? Almost all the bus r express buses lor. Anyway, he can't outfight me la. Aunties always win. In the end got back my money and bought frm other ppl. Rm30. Not bad ba? Sometimes we need to let them eat a little of our $$ but not too much la..

S'pore where hav nice Bak Kut teh de. Everybody just whip a dish to sell only. No food appreciation. Then we busy ppl simply want to fill our stomach. M'sia is the food place for all. Any road stall can sell very solid food. The indian rojak and all. Well, Changi village, there's a small foodplace called the "Hands Food Garden" I've worked there b4. The Bak Kut Teh really not bad. Claypot. try the prawn noodles. Best! big prawns leh..

ha..KL is a very nice place for shopping. I like the gigantic Mid-Valley mall. The best shop is the Pet shop. Selling iguanas, chickens, birds, little of cats and dogs. Er..very exotic animals. Hee.. food cheap cheap. But must take public transport. no taxi- will eat away half ur expenditure. Take the five diff train transport. Cheaper and no jam. Need not scared of robberies and perverted taxi drivers. Wahaha..can live in the backpackers' inn in the bustling town area. RM50/night/bed(bunk)

Shiok sia.. The mee you talking abt is the Hokkien mee. Have the white one too. In KL, the Puduraya(Chinatown) is famous for this dish. Yummy! Aiyo, at night ah, all the stalls like magic - vanish! All turn into food stalls. Like setting up props like tat. Like a big big production, tear down the bkgrd settings and setting up another scene. Very interesting. If you ever notice, the ppl walk with the busy cars on the roads and the zebra crossing there serves no use. Even my malaysian friend admits that.

I asked: Hey, what is this zebra crossing for? Don't you think that the cars will still drive pass even as we stand here?

He replied (laughing): Er..ha..yes. our zebra crossing is for display. no use at all! (@_@!)

Tell you la..I don't like to argue and bargain de.. but when my aunty exclaimed "aiyo, if you don;t bargain, it's very stupid de! let ppl eat up ur money when you can save alot."

Then I realised that they checked the price so high esp that you're a tourist. So I bargained lor. Anyway i'll win. I give them a take it or leave it choice.

Ha..but I don't do that in S'pore. Cause we don't anyhow anyhow check up the prices. (not offending M'sians) I like the kampongs of M'sia in fact. Very relaxing place.
