nicBoarding a cab yesterday evening, I was caught by surprise to realize..
1 - The cab provided free access to WIFI (there's a modem onboard with a huge cooler!)
2 - Provided free printing of documents service for passengers onboard (there's a printer just at the backseat, in front of the rear window!)
3 - Universal handphone charger (charge at own risk precaution)
4 - Adjustable LED lights attached to seats, in case it became too dark for passengers to do work on the cab
WOW. Therefore out of curiosity I questioned.
The driver said it wasn't his cab, he was just a relief driver in place of his friend. His friend had a few years earlier thought why not provide these services since he himself loved working on the go, and that his cost for internet subscription and printing would be covered by passengers who would tip for using the services provided.
Examples he quoted :
Airport -
Passenger forgets to bring ticket, can print an E-ticket immediately online. Life saver I must say!
Handphone Low Batt -
I myself would happily tip him for that half hour charge for that vital few moments of being contactable and being able to contact.
WIFI -
There's no reason not to provide the customers with a fixed price paid convenience for himself. How nice of him!
KUDOS to such nice people in Singapore! Maybe mobile companies would turn kind one day and provide us with free communication services. Till then, let's dream on

not sure if i like the business centre cabbie concept..haha..once i was grabbed into a cab with a superior for a quick meeting while he travelled to the airport to catch his flight..by the time we reached the airport and he checked into this flight..oh man! I wanna puke..shld life be so taxing?
last sat i went out with a long-time-no-see fren. i shld be chatting, but i caught myself leveraging on the free WiFi at Mac and TCC cafe to browse thru my cell phone..haha..fren was speechless..
but ya, technology with moderate use gets the advantage..can't live without it though.
The cab's not from a company, its a normal rented comfort cab that makes it cool-er!!!!!
Aiya.. haha.. we grow up at some point in time and start working.. and guess this is kinda the only way to eat slp and dream music? To make it a real job :)
And yea i guess. realised oso... hmm. Guess its a good transition.. but some things never change.. still fun loving but for now.. have to keep my eyes open as its quite a crucial point in my life.
Been a stressful 2 weeks since renovation and major plans have kicked into action.. even sleep has been short. But hope it'll all be smooth and I can put my mind to ease. Without hardwork, fruits wont be sweet, fruits wont be enjoyed as much.
Remembering where i was 3yrs plus ago.. from that place without even a toilet bowl and freedom to LIVE.. pushes me on :) It was there I found my path.
And now.. I just gotta live it :)

yup yup...without hardwork fruits won't be sweet...but the process is painful...i will feel like breaking down...need a lot of power to hang on/persevere...haha i'm trying hard to smile...

i v backdated lo...got new re-release w 2 mvs....woo! will go n look out for the ang ku keuh ;) wow! cab hv free wifi, good for those into web surfin on the go. this cabbie invest in his interests to give his customers good value-added services, sounds like nico's biz model too. such a big project :O, stress in managing it well will def be there. cant possibly ask you to take it ez, so work ure opportunities very hard n take it v v seriously :P

wah, finally, connectivity to the internet at last...nvr felt so deprived or 'disconnected' from the virtual world at all...now this is my comfort zone miles away...wow, the cab sounds superb...but sometimes, i tink it's ok to stay 'disconnected' for a while...that said, i hope my internet connectivity wont be lost after this =) hm, skype next? i tink we shld make technology work for us and nt be enslaved by technology lor...ciao!
