nic2 yr old band.. within these 2 yrs.. we fought, we sweat (you guys also sweat at outdoor shows not forgetting keke)..
How many more yrs of fighting before we get to make our mark in the scene.. being known for "different" chinese music in a Pop industry and be widely accepted as a norm?
Never dreamt of a MLB concert since Audition 1... never dreamt of doing a concert since i was in my mum's inflated womb. But 2 mths ago we were informed and asked if we would want to take up that challenge (and in wei qi's exam period). Crazy... the concert came to pass though. Wei Qi pulled through. We survived. Did satisfactory for a first try. My speech was kinda.. erhrm.. nervous.. but at least OUR music spoke. No pyrotechnics like Andy Lau.. Just plain O' Music :)
2 yrs ago i could only dream of the band flying overseas to show the chinese world our music.. NOW the dream is getting more visual as the days pass. Inch by inch.. maybe in 2 ys/ 4 yrs? I duno.. Anyways.. Not for fame, Not for fortune, BUT for the love of life.. music.. performing.. Hope This dream materialises.
Time really flies..
My Parents have grown old.. my sis has crossed puberty.. i'm now half man half boy.. 3 of us have been aware of each others' existence, say for 18 yrs? wow. looking back.. so much time has swept by. Its saddening thinking of this.. Not too long later i will too have grey hair ...
4 mths ago.. i dreamt in 10 yrs time i'll save up enough experience and $ to open a music related biz.. with studios and all.. to be near my passion.. and now.. this 10yr later opportunity presents itself 2 mths ago.. in 2 mths time it be up.. doing up a music school with a sincere friend of mine who has been in the biz for yrs. A dream fast forwarded by 10 yrs.
What next?
By the time you guys read these messy thoughts..
We would be jamming out for Monday's Show..
And working out our 3rd album stuffs..
After that what's next for the band?
MAybe its time I start looking pass my wooden box that would be pushed into those flames with my kids collecting my ashes.. Giving Music and love the way I would do.. to their kids..
In the end.. we just turn to dust..
But it aint gonna be dusty I hope before that.. Let me shine :)

the tough wrk & sweats tht was put in.. much seen by the result of everything.. there an old sentence tht says.. "hard wrk will be fulfilled" it shows clearly hw true this was base on the fact tht was placing in front of us - YOU GUYS. ;)
a model for us.. to motivate us to go for smth tht we like & preserve doing it & not giving up half way.
WAY TO GO! everything will be going smoothly as u move on thoug there may be "rocky paths". Proud of u and the band, the gd model for all!

i didnt know that i'll be with the band thus far too, when initially it's juz pure interest in watching superband.
everyone has a dream. to succeed or not, have to depend whether one is determined and have the courage to pursue it anot. and i'm glad u're seeing yours very very soon! rmb, dun ever give up ok? we'll see u shine, i believe!

Wow... the way you described, really made me think of how I have supported MLB for almost 3yrs. To be frank, nobody can tell how many more years ones can continue supporting MLB? But I personally believed that MLBians shall be always there supporting MLB for as long as possible, so long MLB is still around. I always feel that I am the oldest MLBian following you guys at gigs & events, but I am proud to do that. Hope I have many more years to carry on with this task, maybe till I become 3 legged! Hahaha... So long I am still healthy & no movement difficulties, I shall still follow MLB at gigs/events till my last breathe.
My wish & dream for MLB is: To introduce your great music to every part of the world for people who know how to enjoy great music.
I am sure & have confident that this wish are very near already.

one word jus flies out to me in all dat text. there are several definitions of being different. Are we being different for the sake of being diff from others or are we different cos that's who we are? There's a v big difference b/w the 2. There r times wn i jus wanna shout to the world, this is who i am, i am not goin the other way jus to be diff but it's wat my mind/heart dictates me to be at dat time. Smtimes deep in our heart, we know it may not be the best/rit way but it's wat we wanna do and we're jus gonna do it our way anyway. Hit my share of thick walls along the way for being obstinate. It's not the norm or rather the norm never cross our mind, but we tink why not? My only word of caution is the same as my starting pt, be diff cos dat's the way u r, and not create smthing jus so u can be diff from others. The latter can be v off-puttin. others may disagree on this pt, but ultimately we r who we r. Seems totally off ure topic of the day, but it sure feels good when dreams materialise, be it our own or others'... and also to get smthg off our chests.
you guys' hardworks never gone wasted into the drain. you guys pull through the most difficult times. you guys have been working very hard for your own dreams! good job :D

But not really.
Actually more figurative.
To a plain stone the best shine it can get is a smooth reflective surface.
To a catseye stone its shine is deep.. 3 Dimensional.
In years we'll know which we are.
I dont know for myself.. who knows?
Most of the time we think we know.. untill it shows.

Let us shine in anyway we feel honest.. content..
We cant outshine what we're made of. We're made special.. Some plain.. some decorative.. but ALL special.

after reading, only got 4 words.. 感人肺腑！ dunno how to describe in english.. yup fighting in a small singapore music industry is hard. and fighting for your own unique music is even harder. so being able to come thus far is commendable(: and yea ohman 不知不觉 you guys have been out there and we have been supporting for 3 yrs! and there will be many many more yrs to go(:
