3. Downtown-east

5. Shifu's new restaurant
okie, ii only can come out with these few locations, if anyone of u are able to give more suggestions, please name it out.
we shall pick the locations first den decide on wad kind of activities we shall organize on the venue picked. hao mahz?!
we seek for more response, as ii can see many of u might not be able to attend the gathering due to own commitment. its quite sad somehow.

Thanks for all the suggestion. Are you one of the organising committee? Hopefully I am able to attend.
My suggestion is to go Toa Payoh Garden (our 1st gathering venue), cos it is free & most important not many people there. No problem playing games there. To be simple and cost saving for the young mlbians, maybe just buy some cakes, snack & drinks will do. After all many mlbians don't really eat (experience during the 2nd gathering at Yishun CC and 3rd gathering at East Coast Park).
Toa Payoh Garden also can bring back the memories of preparing MLB for the Superband GF. I think it is much meaningful to celebrate an important date at this venue.

Due to the rushed schedule and low response, we've decided not to have the gathering this Sunday. We'll have another one in the future when there's more time, then can plan properly and do a better one, u guys can enjoy more ya?

Really felt bad about this whole thing, cuz really we didnt have time to plan n stuff. Shouldnt have released news before confirming n stuff... will reflect n do better next time! really sorry!
and as for the locations and activities to do during the MLBian gatherings, do keep your ideas coming in, can use for next time.
another idea we've come up with is steamboat @ marina south... and also, we're thinking of doing cip as a group... old folks home, childrens home, tt kind of thing. will be meaningful ya?

finally someone has the same sentiments as me! haha. i was trying to say that TPY Garden was a nice place for a gathering. really liked tt place... fresh air n nice scenery. haha...
but the place can be quite scary at times, got all sorts of worms n insects everywhere. haha... =.=
maybe next time really can go back there yahs... istana park's alright too. but tpy garden's got lesser ppl, better place bahs.

Eating steamboat at Marina South also not a bad idea, but hor I very scare & worry of the mosquitoes there. The very last time I went there, one of my fren got bitten until swollen.

St James Power Station definitely out, cos gals below 18yo & guys below 23yo will not be allow to enter. So many little mei meis won't be able to attend if held there.
Ya, you are right. Sam only said nights, and that doesn't mean he will be sleeping by then.

5 Aug is the anniversary for winning the Firts Singapore SUPERBAND crown.SHIH FU restaurant is at Simei East Point S.C. Maybe we suggest that he prepare a MiluBing dish or dessert or a drink for MLBians to commemorate the occassion; of course must pay but at discounted rate.Am sure SHI FU do not mind even is just a MLB special Drink concocted for this annivesary event. Uncle Phil check out the place and feed back to the 4 leaders please since you are staying that area.I know you have been a faithful supporter I was kind of a disappointed that WM chose those gals but I still respect this decision. But I must say any one who take the leader position must be humble and tactful to all. Is not easy so "unseen" supporters like Uncle Phil is much needed to have resourcefulness. These supporters whom help out behind the scenes are equally important. uNCLE pHIL plaese continue to show the MLB spirit to help whenever there is a need to do so.We also want to welcome and recruit all UNSEEN helpers to volunteer their services to the MLB family.
Those the 4 leaders need our help is any small ways.

Thank you very much for thinking so highly of me, but to be frank I am indeed a faithful supporter. As for the leader thingy, you are right that we cannot say much but respect WM's decision. Please be assure that eventhough I am not a leader, I will still give my fullest support and help the leaders whenever they need me or unsure of what to do (as mentioned in my previous mail: provided they do not think that I am a busybody).
Fyi, I am not staying near Simei. I am staying in Sengkang and working in Tampines. Of course I can help to check with Shih Fu and try to arrange something for mlbians on this very special day. But before I can arrange anything with Shih Fu, I definitely need to know the response. Time is really very short to do much, therefore I also cannot promise that it can be done.
Infact I also cannot attend this gathering (unless it is after 5pm), cos I thought the gathering already confirmed cancelled, so I have appointment with my colleagues. But luckily we are meeting at East Point Shopping Mall at 3pm, so I might still be able to step in & join fellow mlbians.
Anyway, I will try my very best to see whether Shih Fu can really helps & do something for MLBians. Please tell me the headcount by today, thanks.
