i think it you are free, you can try pottery, tt is what i did for my sec2 art, cause my teacher thinks i am too lazy to do his theory assignements, so he chose something tt will excite mi..-.-"

yah lor, but the whole experiece it fun, need to prevent your pots from toppling, crumbling down, need to make coils, etc. paitence is really needed in pottery, think it is a diff art experience also=D

Look fun to me. Not bad for a first timer. Missed my pottery, we have our own oven, so it was fun playing with all those mud, esp with my super funny art teacher. Heard the Dragon Kiln just opened their kiln recently, is that the time you went?

Next time you learn hw to fire celadon, the cracker type. The control of the fire and the opening of the kiln had to b right or the whole thing will fall apart. I had a friend that had a factory doing such. Interesting.

Weiqi.. next time yr sku need model like tis let us knw. We go apply. I knw we will be paid for the sitting(s). Nothing wrong being naked for the sake of ART.
Yr 'zuo ping' not bad. I like it. Very natural. The way the leg is bent, the little stomach in pic 168, the way the head bent, u cover lots of details ler..Jiayou!

This place is good for filming.. Mystery genre.. really looks like a tavern in China or Rome.. In those days of Knights.

Hmmm.. if the whole sulpture can be sprayed in some paints or simply touching-up with some deep brown colours to form shadows can make the features more distinctive..hmmm.. a little contrast can help to make it look more alive esp when it's 3-D..

hmm... I don't think they allow other ppl to control the kiln. Only trained personnel can do the controlling cos quite dangerous.

Weiqi, it does look like bread, esp after the baking. haha. Hows your revision going? Taking a break now? Sleep as soon as you finish ok, cos need some concentration for tmr exam. Take a sweet with you, can help in concentration but not too much cos sugar level too high will make you sleepy. A little tip from my teacher. :) Aja Aja Fighting!!!!

Thanks for sharing with us your masterpiece here :) To me, it is a very good piece for a first timer. Luckily yours din get burnt. yup different ppl have different perceptions, that is how misunderstandings arise bcos we tend to perceive others with our own perception. That is what my faci teach me de wor. An art can have a dozen of interpretations de lor. There is no right or wrong answer to it, just a matter of whether it's same as the artist's interpretation

I'm not very sure abt NS NAFA too. Failed is better or passed is better for defer?

Some ppl hopes for a B instead of A cos won't be selected for commando. Some ppl afraid of being failed cos may need to go for extra 3mths training. But most ppl hope they pass lah. So I guess is pass loh.

i took art too . haha. i mould sculptures and built sculptures out of newspaper and anything else. its fun! but yea, sometimes they got burnt. but its okay, they're my babies. i bet u feel a sense of satisfaction after u see your very own work. (:

still selecting songs? hope u all choose songs dat u can identify with and relate to. otherwise it will hv no soul. like some of the PSS2 contestants, some sound good technically but sing w no soul n feeling, maybe due to de nerves. hard to win audience over...so hope if u all hv a say in it, choose carefully.

BTW, weiqi, regarding transferring of blog, no sure if u know HTML. Maybe can try to save all the blogs into normal webfile (HTML), then edit it by using text file, can delete the spams away. Then upload into the blog. I'm still experimenting this, not sure it works or not, but the blog will look exactly the same as here.

Was going thru the old blog entries... think u will faint with all those spams. They had broken the highest tagging record, even the animals lost to them. :(

Weiqi, you wanna have the gathering this mth ma? so does that means, Nic's NS has been not deferred, so he will still be going to enlist on the 16th therefore this mth, or his NS has been deferred but you guys wanna make it earlier as now is the holidays, so more ppl can make it?

either way, think really need to act on it real fast, coz' lots of things need to be done, the planning, location, etc...
but of coz' need to depend on the schedule of you guys too...so update us again soon ba...

weiqi. if u reali wish to have one tis month.. u would need to confirm again with the 3 of ur schedule for this month and to wait for nic's confirmation of gettin a deferment not.
otherwise, location wise might be difficult to find. unless wad sofui mentioned above regarding the location does help.
other than location, the rest of the things can be easier handled, i believe.
try to confirm soon bahs. and mayb u can show us the design that u've been hinting on the gathering day itself.

I love hearing the "Bai Wan Bao" theme song sang by MiLuBing. Its something different from what they used to sing.
Sam's vocal improved very much, can't really figure out Nic's voice (maybe C7 de quizzy_me is right; Nic's voice was too sweet to be recognised).
Wonder WeiQi did sing any part of the song?

Ya, I agree. Life is precious. But the person at tt pt must be feeling reali helpless to wan to die this painful way. They forget it is those that are alive got to live with this pain, that their love ones died so tragic.

I still cannot get over Leslie Chang's death. Love him lots although he is a gay. He is realli a perfomer and a sexy one and come with a voice. I was at Phuket tt time and sat on the floor crying until I fall asleep. Till today, all his songs and his performances is the best (he is still alive in memory).

Sounds lyk sam is the vocalist dis tym rd while nic is the one harmonising? :) weiqi mah, not quite sure if he provides the background vocal for some parts, lyk whispering hai shi mai bu dao? :) weiqi can be quite gui ma sometimes n spring a few surprises or two, lyk saying witty one liner in a matter-of-fact tone ... ha ha ha ... can really put ppl into stitches ... weiqi, muz try2 sing more solo parts next tym k ... tot milubing might have done the arrangement but it was someone else ... finally saw the xmas cd, oh my, the pics huh....sam looks so cuuute, wq looks so hip n nico looks.....so...ummm...flashy. 3 diff styles. wah nico realli sing rock version of the xmas songs, esp the 1st song. wat caught my attn in the album was soul's rendition of winter wonderland. the key n arrangemt is quite unique, realli changed the entire mood of the song to a darker one. interesting...

couldn't find it at orchart mrt, cine and bugis sembawang.

you may have to ask the staff 4 d CD, it cld be somewhere in the shop tt you missed it. That's why i dun like the layout of sembawang.

The title of the cd is December Stars. I think sembawang is hving a promotion tt'z why it's selling at $13.90. So the staff knows abt the CD.
