Most of the time, recorded version is better due to the digital enhancement it can make. But I would prefer live thou.

hey my first time posting comments here.i have nv attended any MLB recordings except once at the Meet-the-Fans session at Junction 8. Was quite disappointed as MLB was v shy on stage and little interaction n performance. Didn't manage to go for the gathering a few wks bk. Hope MLB can organise a gathering soon n tis time i definitely pull my bf along. hee. Anyway u guys were great during the finals. Esp NIC. I have always wanted to learn guitar since poly but lazy. Nic really inspires me to take up Guitar seriously. He played n sang so well! Hope it's nt late to start learning guitar at a age of 21. I wan to play as well as NIC one day :)Cheers MLB!!!!

im so so so looking forward to the compilation cd :) hope they do come up with a nice cover for the cd. hahaha

the live performance... didnt really pay attention to the music cos everyone around me were cheering and all. cldnt even hear properly... but i did record down... haha. so actually i watched the telecast already. what was on tv sounded better actually. cos the expo was like an enclosed area lah. so if there was any bad sound effects or whatever it tended to sound worse? i duno. hahaha

Hello..gd to hear some feedback frm u. U shld share yr decision with yr parents. Sit them down n talk to them, explain properly Y u think u shld stop schl. Sometime to quit n go into the working world may not B so bad. U than slowly find yr interest.. handicraft... tailoring..hair stylist... cooking.. go join hotel catering school.. lrn how to cook n make cakes(my fav buttercake w plenti of butter), there mus b something. Even if there is nothing... work decently.. find a gd man, get married, look aft family n bring up kids may not B a bad thingy (sori I dun know u G or B).. photography is gd. I use to take my dad's digicam and take pictures of plant of sky of trees or rolling waves, flowers, insect... i dun like to take ppl.
C... hope u cheering up.
if u hv interest in one of these, u got to go to proper training at the end u also get a cert. C...cert got plenti types ma! parents of course hope we do well academically lor!

Talking abt drama... I got this vision - not my own lah... but see if you remember...

***(forgive my grammer)
She came all the way to see her 'boy friend' being enrolled into army. She hanged out at the army camp gate, hoping to see him one last time. Soldiers marched pass one by one... where is her beloved?...Suddendly she caught sight of him... and shouted 'his name'...... but he could not turned back nor acknowledge her. He was the last 2 rolls of soldiers to enter the camp and the gate is going to close. There was this good hearted army officer who was watching the whole drama stopped 'him' and said : I give you 5 mins, go an finish your business. He was very grateful. He slowly walk out the gate to the girl. She had tears all over her face and looked at him with so much to say and yet speechless. He finally opened his mouth and said : Thank you for coming to see me. There is nothing much I can promise you. Please go back. I wish you all the best. Leaving these words with the broken-hearted girl, he strolled back into the camp and the gate closed behind him. All these while she is not able to say anything. She is overwhelmed. Her heart is bursting with things she wanted to say but could not utter a word.... with tears rolling down her face.... she walked slowly into the sunset!

And I agree that all of us shouldn't 'hold banners' at NTU...not only will cause inconvenience to Mr Chan but will also caused a lot of headaches to the sch authority.

I don't think many people in my school realise that we have a member of a Top 4 group studying in the same school (RP)as us and probably taking the same diploma as some of them. Even if we know, we won't go about following him around...the most just take an extra glimpse of him...yup so far I don't think anyone else (be it RP students or outsiders) were following him around in our school.

But I think Weiqi korkor don't need to worry ba, coz NTU is so big, I guess we would not be able to locate him easily.

Hi Nic,

Thanks for blogging again to give all MLBians 1st hand informations.
Please go ahead an hold a gathering with MLB's immediate families, relatives & friends. But on behalf of all MLBians; please say a BIG THANK YOU to MiLu Pas, MiLu Mas, MiLu ShiFu, MiLu Aunties, Uncles, Siblings & Friends. They have done so much for MLB during this whole SuperBand Journey, especially for the Grand Final at S'pore Expo.
Its a great news to hear that MLB had recorded YongQi in the SuperBand's Compilation Album. Believe all MLBians will be eagerly waiting for the release. Hopefully, there will be autograph signing session. Then we can meet up close not only with MLB but the rest of the 9 bands!
MLB, please take your times to settle whatever you guys have on hand before having a 2nd MLB Family Re-union Party. MLBians will be patiently waiting, especially for MLB's 1st Baby (Own Album).

*LOL* really cannot stop laughing. Just back from errand, so hot on a national day. reading all the above postings and nic's reply, really made me rolling on the floor.

We jiejie and aunties were just trying to light up the blog abit cos everyone seem so serious. So we joke here, joke there which we always did, go back to the past postings and you will know what I meant. Nic knows all along we just fooling around, making fun of him and the other boys. Then PXH came in, trying to fool us with his hidden beauty. Ha, I was not fooled, not sure about the others thou. Thats why I didn't even comment on Nic's reply, since it didn't really matter to me. :P But PXH didi very cute leh, really help us to make this blog more fun right. PXH, come back leh, it takes more than 1 ppl to joke along. Now Chiobu jiejie went oversea, Lao Babe jiejie only blog in office, Oyster jiejie...don't know when she will pop up, so only left you here.

Anyway, just to comment on something, Nic had replied to almost all the regulars here before, no someone in particular. He has the right to what to answer and what not. If he is going to answer all of you, think he got no time to do other things liao. Maybe one day we organise a conference so he can answer all the questions? He he.

This blog is indeed full of love and it's a cyberhome for all MLBians to return to after a hard day of school, work, etc. I wonder if Mediacorp will close this blog someday but if they do, really hope that Nic, Sam and Weiqi will start a blog somewhere else so that we can all gather online and park our well wishes.

flora, but to be a real artiste u got to be 100% committed, it's not as simple as producing an album full stop. u got to do lotsa publicity works, go to other countries too, attend lotsa ent shows, hold press conferences, autograph signing sessions.... even to cut an album itself is not as simple as we think, if not y big stars like jay chou, david tao take one year to come out w/ an album?

i m very worried how our milo boys r going to do this, i m very worried about their future.. y it seems nobody is thinking of this serious problem?

I understand your concern. Pls remember that Jay n Tao do their album once a year due because they got other things to do other than recording an album, eg. advertisments, producing other ppl albums, writing songs, acting... and they produce their own album, from top to bottom.

However, not really to accuse of anyone, but this is the truth, Warner will get other producer to do the album. Their songs will be picked by the company too. Think the boys wouldn't have much chance to work on their own songs, k, maybe just a song or 2. Most of their time will be focusing on the practicing and recording. The rest will be done by other ppl. The only thing I care for is the quality of the album. I believe in good things need time. Some companies will release an album every half an year for an artist when he/she is famous at that period of time. However these albums are not "really" good in quality, the companies only care about the quantity. This is very upsetting. When one complained about the download of songs from internet causing the downfall of music industry, did he care about the quality of the music he made? I only buy original albums but I had cut down the numbers now because some of them really badly made. Thats also one main reason of one hit wonder. Pray that MLB won't be one of them. Pray that they got a good producing team.

i would rather mlb release their album next year. i'll rather wait, than hear an album cut without the quality....

plus the time for choosing songs and all. lesser than three months for recording,shooting and etc. HOW to make a good album in such a short time? i dont understand them. fans may feel that 3 months is a long time to wait. but 3 months really isnt long for a good musician's album. as nic said, 3 to 5 days are normally needed to record ONE song. its really hard to produce a good album within three months.

i'll really rather wait... than hear an album with bad quality...

but again. they have no choice do they? they have only a one year contract with warner. nobody knows what will happen from then on. i guess they will want to release the album asap so that people wont lose interest in them or smth?

i duno. but anyway... i believe mlb themselves know what to do. so smilez! hehes... i believe they'll be determined to produce a really good album for us :)

i tink it shouldn't be a prob to work on the album although they had school & ns commitments.. juz that it takes longer time, they got to work harder, sacrifice their wkends etc.... could be a hectic life for them though..

however i'm oso worried abt the quality. saw on the papers that the company intend to release the album end of tis yr?? i tink is a bit too soon..although i know many are dying to have their album asap. i believe in 'man gong chu xi huo'. if they really intend to release the album that soon, it could happen that the album consists of mostly other singers songs (aka kou shui ge).. juz like weilian's first album, only 4 new songs. nothing wrong wif that, but i prefer an album wif mostly original songs.

some singers have 1 album a year coz they spend the time 'collecting' the right songs, and that takes time too....

Agree, I rather wait. If the album is badly done due to chop chop anyhow do, I would not buy the album no matter how I support MLB. I don't mind waiting for them. If no company would like to spend time on them, there are other ways to do it. Record your own album, put them on the internet and if it is good, ppl will rave about them. The world is changing, you do not need to have support from a recording company to release an album anymore. Think you guys should know how many singers got sought after by recording companies after they release their songs on the internet.

i managed to dl the 2 songs nic posted. all i did was click on the link, then the music plays via the web media player. right click on the media player and go to save as. There u have the songs and can play it offline! =)

actually, if u can't right click to save the file. there's another way to retieve....
when u play the song, it will be saved into your
"temporary internet files" folder..
copy and paste to your destination folder..

so u guys recorded yong qi for the SB album compilation ... frankly speaking, on dat GF day, we at the supporters camp hv no clue wat was said on stage as we were al drowned by the supporters' whistle blowing n singing ... sure look 4ward 2 e repeat telecast thou sam doesn't wanna 'hear' it again ;p... we didnt noe of e technical glitch u had on stage either ...

i also rather wait long time for their album than to get a sub-std one. even if the fans forget about them liao, if their music is good, pple wld like them again when they release their album. it's better than produce a shoddy pc of work then the fans feel disappointed after listening then don't want to support them anymore right?? i guess this was wad happened to previous singing competition idols?

but we say so much also no use lah, the recording co r the ones who decide wad to do. let's hope for the best ba.

Meanwhile trying very hard to get used to life w/o SB. I can say life sux now... Watched SI2 just now & the judges' comments even more entertaining than their performances, seems this season contestants quite disappointing as compared to SI1. Maybe after i watch SB i don't feel like watching other things anymore.

Normally the internet temp folder is in my computer - C drive - documents & settings - your user default folder name, eg. the main folder of My Document - Local Setting - Temporary Internet Files

Or another way, use the search file program. Start - search - for files or folders

The file name would be a4-21217064777.mp3 & 21816502967.mp3

If you enter by your school’s front gate, and spot ‘some people’ holding banners there, please enter by the school back gate instead, or vice versa. Same here, when you are leaving, exit by the school’s front gate if you spot you-know-who stationing at the back gate. But what if there are fans stationing at every entrance/exit in your school? Then don’t go home ba (NTU has hostel right?). If you are really suay suay kena mobbed by fans outside school gate, then you can claimed that “I’m not Weiqi! Some people said I looked like milubing’s Weiqi, but I’m not him!”
After doing this, your freedom in school is guaranteed!

u can listen online...but dont think can save. if you want, you can download a recorder or smth. and do inline recording. that'll be easier.

i recommend super mp3 recorder professional. its what im currently using... and its quite good lah. not doing any adver... but u'll have to change its settings for inline recording.

jus returned frm NDP06. Met Terence n we both hv a super time watching all the fireworks. We also talk a bit abt GF n he told me tat I shld go look at SOUL Blog. I wen b4 i came here.
MLBains, forgive me for saying... I think SOUL.. how shld I put it..hummmm - OK lets put it this way..I think MLBains, pls stop going there to post any mssg. I saw mani of u there n instead of making it better probably am not appreciated. I knw u all meant well.. but now MLB won the title n ppl will think that we show off.

Probably all the gd things done by Out There and PXH is being seen as 'pity and sympathy'. To me I dun think these 2 cuties meant harm.. one is worried one is consoling her.

I think Justis is a very feeling person...n he has doubt on many things like where did SOUL tickets went, why is there so little SOUL supporters, he didn't say it but btw the lines...probably am wondering why MLB occupied the center of the mospit. No offense to any SOUL floating here...I just feel a bit sad. This competition also made some ppl loose their jobs or hv not been working 4 sometime.

Therefore MLBains... can u all refrain frm going there.. to cause them inconvenience.

MLB, dun look like they are ready to win the title BUT they won.
I believe 'what will be, will be'.

I am also a one track MLB.

kaysee, I'm sorry, sorry, was in bad mood just now cos I just lost the chance of watching a movie which I had been wanting to watch. *haiz* Anyway, some of us know the ans but just don't know whether or not to ans you cos it sort of private qns u koe. TTWW, regarding the other band's blog, I had read it right after he posted it. Never post any comment there cos its always not good to say you are MLB fans and say something there. No matter good or bad, ppl may just think you r haolian or whatever. So I normally keep my feeling of those blogs to myself. However, think I gotta speak up something of what I felt from there, but going to post here. we MLB fans took tic from MLB, cos we went to gathering. How come MLB supporters so much more than others at GF? There are some ppl may took other band's supporter tic and came to ours, but not all of them, ok? We all know that lots of ppl asking for tic before GF. MLB and the fans helped each other to find tics so everyone will not be left out. I got 5 public tics from my friend, so I gave them all out under 1 criterial, wear pink to expo. there are many ppl who got public tic to watch GF, what if most of them were MLB fans and they wore pink? That night I saw that initially the mosh pit of all bands were quite empty, so the organizer asked supporters to go into the moshpit area. Maybe the MLB moshpit area was bigger than others, so they needed more ppl to fill it up? Think I had said enough, should shut up already.

Hope tmr my cheerful mode is back so I can poke fun again.

Ha, that MC hotdog is famous for making songs which critise ppl, not many ppl like him. Heard quite a lot of ppl went GF just to hear him sing this song, waiting to hear if he got sing that certain phrase or not. I'm not very sure what phrase and not sure whether he sang or not. ya.. tat is why when by Boss gv me 8 sitting tixs... i picked the ppl by asking them to call me. I said outright i am not interested in international fans n if they are no need to call me. Really cannot help, fan sometime got so many hearts? sigh!
I was surprised myself, there are so many pink..even sitting area. I was at the mediacorp reception n also got ppl wearing pink. I was sitting right behind VB an scream like no daylight n realized so many behind me also scream.. not in pink. I asked them n they say they got txs from Hoyu n other sponsors n they din blog so dun know MLB wear pink.. Oh my tian... then i realized the numbers are way way more than wat we saw on Saturday..all come out from no where?
I also realized Mediacorp very bad.. MLB % is all the while high... but they announced Soul first and later MLB. This crazy rite?

ya... so mani until i was wondering myself too. at my area all sitting behind me 3 rolls... i din realized until they announced the 'calls' votes even MLB hv not perform was leading so we all stand up n scream.. n i look back, gosh, nearly 80% of the 3 rolls were standing up screaming. I also got some young ppl behind me in different colors Ts so I kpo... n they say they MLB.. so I said why u in other colors Ts.. they say they dun know MLB pink.. their tickets from sponsors.
