Differentiating of tickets [Reply]

OKAY, so let me confirm. =)

Tickets with the stamp at the back saying "SuperBand Supporter" means Supporter tickets. Toilet breaks plus maximum A3-sized banner allowed.

Tickets without anything stamped on means Moshpit tickets. Means no toilet breaks and no banners at all.

Poor poor me. Mine are Moshpit tickets. :(

Moshpit tics are sorta the best cos they are the nearest to the stage but alot of restrictions. Supporter tics are the 2nd nearest to the stage followed by the public tics which dun have chop behind.

Hmm... I got mine from someone who works in Mediacorp, and she's directly involved in the production of Superband so I am assuming that mine should be comparable to VIP tickets.

Then again I am seriously not sure because mine doesn't have any chops behind.

I don't want to have public tickets though!!! I wanna stand with the Milubing family!!! :(

hee..went expo for book fairs, disney on ice etc before..the flooring are flats..and not very cooling...so those gals have long hair..i do suggest tied up..if not too crowded standing may makes us pekchek..:> priority to feel comfortable n enjoy the performance...sling handbag will be good to keep out stuffs too,so hands free to cheer n enjoy the show...haha kinda getting ready to go expo..

Topic : Music Flu….

Music is thicker than blood. Because of music they have become blood brothers. Band – is not all about self-achieving. When interviewed, all said the same thing. Competition is all the same, close door practices in long term wears one out. At this critical moment, for those that are able to bear all these pressure and breakthrough the huddles, that is really what I call a SURVIVOR! After 4 months of (非常Superband) competitions, it wears down both the body and mind. To reach Grand Final, all the 4 Bands are down with Music Flu…. this sickness is not a light one too. The sign : there is a BIG BIG word ‘Tired’ written all over the faces however the SPIRIT is very high. We are trying to prescribe the antidote……..

迷路兵(aka MLB)
Fact Sheet :
Patient : Nic, Sam, WeiQi
Instruments : Guitar, Keyboard. Drum
Strength : 3 heads is better than 1; Strong in re-creating a song; well-versed with instruments; young and vibrant; popular with both judges and fans
Weakness : Limited members in the Team; not able to come up with more patterns;
Base on creativities, they are able to come up with changes within a fixed arena;
At all time, weakness can turn into strength.
From the side : These 3 Boys, the first impression projected are of shyness and
reservations. It is only during photo taking when photographer Simon wanted them to
pose in all kind of styles that they showed that they are actually mischievous. Therefore you see a Spiderman….a Superman… and a Su Wu Kong (? !)…..it is a pity that Superband do not have one competition to showcase their acting skills or else they will surely get good marks!

Q: SF2 we saw them kicked-out BRODS, and they are so sad that they nearly cry!
A : hum… BRODS is like big brothers that take care of us, they encouraged us and we
are able to share some heart to heart exchange of views. We love their vocals, so
full of feelings.

Q: Revival Round.. you and Juz-B were left on the stage, at SF2.. you and BRODS
were again the last two on stage..
A: that’s right…. that’s right….it happened again. It made people think that we are
the one that kicked them out…. Sigh!

Q: Nic’s Dad is the biggest MLB fan and his vehicle is full of MLB stickers, but we
Understand that Mum is not so agreeable that you are in this competition.
A: actually my Mum is a silent supporter…. every successful son has a fantastic
Mum at the back supporting….ha…ha…ha

Q: How about WeiQi?
A: my Mum actually wishes that I am kick out of the competition. This is because she
realized that I am very tired and it affected my health. It pains her heart .. however now
that we have reached Final… she is all out to support us.

Q: In qtr final… MLB fans were the loudest cheering, have you met any extreme fans?
Now that you are popular… have you sacrifice your personal space?
A: a bit…. Our fans are very considerate… they cook for us… personally make beautiful
cards and banners for us. We are very touched. So far no one has forced their way to
hug or kiss us. There are fans who asked for telephone numbers and e-mails contacts
which we have gently turned down.

Q: What is the biggest gain and lost in this competition?
A: the 3 of us know each other since church days… but this competition brings us closer.
Our music than was simple but since we are in this competiton, we have learn how to
rearrange our music and bring out our creativity to the maximum. The biggest gain
in this competition is to meet Bands of different music nature and exchange of ideas.
We learn a lot from them…. Sacrifice? we have tried not sleeping for 24 hours. We
have lost about 5 to 6 kgs … and Nic has acquired the skill of sleeping anywhere and
everywhere when it is possible….. ha…ha…ha.

Remarks : The main support that MLB are able to be successful all these while are mainly due to the strong and rich support of the church they go to. Rumors that they are from
Ho Yao San’s pastor husband church, City Harvest.

Hidden :
..MLB is not from City Harvest. They are from a small church in a neighborhood. The rumors that they have got rich supporters as their backing is hearsay.
..WeiQi not only play the keyboard well… he is also good at designing. We intend to
start a shop with friends…to design caps, shoes, Ts…. We have to put this on hold due
to Superband.
..this 3 boys are so adorable… keep telling their fans to vote within their means
..there are fans that are motivated by MLB improved in their studies…. they even showed their report cards to the boys!

Moshpit is just right in front of the stage, or if the stage is like jagged or whatever then moshpit means right below the stage.
Supporters would be behind those people at the moshpit I presume.

i think after the GF ends at 11pm, the bands will have to deal with the media first. den they also need to have time to interact with each other. and they should be very tired. i think waiting for their autographs and pictures will be difficult. we might as well let them rest and wait for a mlb gathering where we can do autographs, photo-taking, chatting with the guys, sing-a-longs, etc...after superband, no need to worry abt tickets...yay! but monday nights are going to be dull...sobs!

Moshpit can't be for VIP cos why would MediaCorp make VIPs stand?

Moshpit is standing btw. Standing and no toilet for almost 5 hours.

Totally not VIP at all. Haha.

Moshpit in rock-concert style is two "holes" in the stage for fans to stand in... anyone watched MTV Asia Awards before, they had it for 2004's.

But it probably wouldn't be "holes" in the stage for fans for SuperBand I guess...

If you've been for recordings, "moshpit" referred to the area next to the stage where all the fans stand.

So its something like that (should be) for the Finals, just on a larger scale cos bigger stage and bigger area. :)

Craziikino: Yup I believe moshpit tix would allow you to have a very very very clear view, assuming there aren't that many people with moshpit tickets. But I'm saying this based on past experiences so I'm really not 100% sure.

nanny: got it from the J3 forum. Uhh... it makes sense if they allow the first 100 fans of each fans to stand at the moshpit area. I don't know if theres any other way to verify this, but thats just what I heard. :)

I don't think public tickets are just those without stamp. 'Cos apparently those with public tickets have seats. But it'll be right at the back.

I have 5 tickets with me now, but my friends and I can't confirm if we're going yet, so as of now I have two extra. Might give the other three away too, but not sure yet.

Oh yes. Very Blessed to perform in Max pavilion. Stepping on familiar grounds. There are two churches - FCBC and City harvest. Hall 7,8,9 and 10 are the grounds. Hall 7 & 8 are used by our neighbours. :)

Dunno how the sound will be like there. But I guess sound checks will be longer than in mediacorp as the area is so big and lots of amplifiers.(hope to have gd audio engineers) For sure, the 3 screens(if hall 7 have) are very dynamic and clear with styreo lightings(running lights). The best parts are the good cameras and video room to coordinate the live performances. It's going to be a concert once in expo. high, high, high all the way. Shiok sia!

i tink it's not a v gd location. went there last yr to watch may day's concert. d sound system v poor... blasting loud. after d concert my ears like "deaf".

hopefully tis x will b better... but tink i better bring something to stuff my ears.. HAHA!

If professional audio engineers come in, sound will eventually be good.. It really depends on the engineers to control the sets. 'cause a lot of money is punched in to get the good equipments. The Audio mixer[Median]or [Legend](i forgot, whichever one of the names la) is one of the four sets that exist in S'pore because it's very very expensive.

In the end it's like getting a good guitar but is there a good musician to play?
[get a gd musician to play on a lousy guitar, he'll still whack the best out of it] :)
