Hi to Cedar & Willow... Cedar, you probably hv nine lives. All yr close shaves were nervy to read. Send our warmest regards to Willow. I agree with Willow. You shld travel separately bcos you both travel so often. Choy!! The plane will not come down so easily. I had fighter pilot friends who tld me their cockpit won opened after the flight. They hv to stay really cool. A commercial pilot is worst - 300 or more lives in their hands.

I stay in Tampines and from my window I can see the control tower. I can see planes taking off and planes coming back. I always pray for safe journey for those flying off back home or for other reasons AND I rejoice at safe touch downs. I do this only when I have the time to look out the window.

Hi Cocoa, it is so good to hug you again. You really have grown taller and slimmer. How come your msg for yr Nic Kor at CS is so mild? You lost yr intensity for NIC shows tt u hv grown up but dun lose yr support for MLB.

To all plants..you guyz are the most wonderful and best cyber connections here in this GARDEN. I rejoice hvg you all and I count my blessings!

Cya!

Hello Plants

I said somewhere tt I will update on the Jolin Concert. Yup, I was there with Rosemary. Her show - so so only. Jolin is lucky bcos her songs are catchy. She can dance. Her voice is moderate. The 'encore' part is disappointing. People lv before show ended.

Anyway I enjoyed Rosemary company. We both enjoyed ourselves. We sing, dance, scream, shout - like a perfect fan. We also waved light sticks. (I screamed louder in SB for MLB..he.e.e.e)

So aft tt Rosemary n me went for super at this Hongkong restaurant in Katong. We left ea other way passed mid-night.

Have a wonderful week.

Hi Coconut.. I an blogging frm Sunflower's office. Went to see dad n also all the office friends.

I think you love Cocoa, so you love chocolate. Sunflower dun eat chocolate, she dun like it. Wasted right? Chocolate is so yum.m.m.y.

U are right, the blog is not like last time. I did not see Sanyi too. She normally reply. So Sad! The old blog is gone too.

I dun knw I am intense abt Nic Kor. I happened to be attracted to him. Call this man bonding - but for me it is one sided. I am sure if Nic Kor know me..n..we met - I am sure we will bond de. Hey! I saw the blinks in all your planty eyes - NO, NO, NO - I am not a gay! I like healthy, sunny girls!
Met some blonde in UK.. I think I still prefer Asian girls...

Cedar's stories are so amazing. I hv know him under a different name since MLB's early days. Hi to Willow..White Willow.. the one that sways along river banks with long leaves and branches hanging down. Saw some docmentaries of China. Indeed romantic. Have you seen Peony?

Did you all visit SanXingDui? I went to see the exhibition of the mystery man in the Museum. You all shld go if got time.

K.. lunch time liao!

hi cocoa, u r rite le, i love cocoa.. cos it reminds me of my late mom.. i remembered when i was a child.. in those days the ladies. including my mom took cocoa drinks during confinements.. when i asked her why? she said, cos after birth their bodies weaken.. cocoa drinks helped them to build up body heat.. n health .. & nw science cmfd esp dark chocolate is gd for health..

ancient ppl like our ancestors seems to be wiser than the scienties .. no need to do experiments la.. they seems to know alot of wise things.like herbs, accupuntures etc..is just that sometimes the modern ppl choose not to believe..

since young i do not like sweet sweet things, but i simply love chocolates.. i remembered i used to save up some pocket money just to buy a small pkt of Van Houton chocolate during recess..

Hi all Planty... so quiet here? Hey! tis lalang. Break time so catching up n use com to come here read n tag.

Read abt the Korean guy who killed 32 ppl in USA. It is sad... here is some of his quote :

*****
You had a hundred billion chances and ways to have avoided today," he said. "But you decided to spill my blood. You forced me into a corner and gave me only one option. The decision was yours. Now you have blood on your hands that will never wash off."

The target of his hatred was fellow students at Virginia Tech, where Cho massacred 32 people Monday.

"Your Mercedes wasn't enough, you brats," he said. "Your golden necklaces weren't enough you snobs. Your trust funds wasn't enough. Your vodka and cognac wasn't enough. All your debaucheries weren't enough. Those weren't enough to fulfill your hedonistic needs. You had everything."

Cho, it seems, had nothing.

He had no friends, no normal college life, no reason to live.

Just a death wish.

And a desire to show the whole world his disturbed heart.

****

I think this world is getting colder, ppl are COLD. We care abt ourselves, no time for others and or show kindness to ppl who needs them. The richer gets spoilt, the poorer become second class...thus it comes to this..

He has no right to kill other innocent... if only the ppl look around and see n hear.

Heavy hearted!

Hi Plants.. Mother Nature's children..how are you all? Recently lots of rain, thunder n lighting. I lived in Tampines and on the 13th floor. Use to stand n look out the window during rain..I wish I can go out and play in the rain.

Saw lightings flashed many times and was amazed at the white and blue color which electrify the surrounding and the way it 'zaps' across the sky. A tot will also flashed across my mind 'where is it gg to strike?'

Hey, guyz...I am very happy! I started writing for a magazine..articles that reflect life + some of my personal experiences. Looking at my faults and using it to understand others -yes! you are right - it is a mag run by religious group.

One of my short article was published in a mag that had a worldwide circulation...paiseh! but I am happy. I am new and just trying out...

Dun 'wink' yr eyes... I am not boasting but trying to share my joy with all the family members here.

Cheers!

Sunafternoon to all plants. Today Monday again. My weekend burnt but all for a gd reason.

Hey..U knw I read somewhere..this kid when to distrub a croc and got eaten up. He literally climbed into the cage to poke at the fellow. So he ended his life in the croc stomatch.

Thanks Coconut n Rosemary. I do enjoy writing. Articles are bits and pieces of glimpses of happenings.Sometime I wld purposely do something to evok some feelings and see how people react. Ha.a.a.a 人性 is so different.

Mango mama and Mango son...long time no see. Mango, I read the text again in the Garden n realized u also stay in Tampines. We probably run into ea other but dun know ea other. I remember seeing a lk somewhere. See u here soon.

Aiyo busi so din come in last 2 days. Happy to see you guys growing here.

Mango, the mag called 'Mandala'. Unless you read Buddhist mag or else you won see it. As for my tags, I normally says wat is in my mind at tt moment of tagging.

Coconut, I agreed tt life is so fragile. Sometime I wonder where are the parents eh. Like tis one got eaten by the croc - everyone was asking where is the zoo keeper when it happened n where are the parents when it happened.

So... dun 斤斤计较 lah. Live and lets live.

Saw Sam's tagged that he rode in the rain. It is dangerous. I realized and saw with my own eyes now that I drive, how easy just to hit a motorbike...n lighting stikes too.

Pink Rose... see you tomorrow.

All children of mother nature..take good care of yourself.

Hi planty...today I got 牢骚 n a moral story to tell...

*****

Woman was out golfing one day when she hit the ball into the woods.

She went into the woods to look for it and found a frog in a trap. The frog told her, "If you release me from this trap, I will grant you three wishes."

The woman freed the frog, and the frog said, "Thank you, but I failed to mention that there was a condition to your wishes. Whatever you wish for, your husband will get it ten times!"

The woman said, "That's okay."

For her first wish, she wanted to be the most beautiful woman in the
world. The frog warned her, "You do realize that this wish will also make your husband the most handsome man in the world, an Adonis whom women will flock to". The woman replied, "That's okay, because I will be the most beautiful woman and he will have eyes only for me."

So, KAZAM-she's the most beautiful Woman in the world!

For her second wish, she wanted to be the richest woman in the world.
The frog said, "That will make your husband the richest man in the world. And he will be ten
times richer than you. " The woman said, "That's okay, because what's
mine is his and what's his is mine."

So, KAZAM-she's the richest woman in the world!

The frog then inquired about her third wish, and she answered, "I'd
like a mild heart attack!"

Moral of the story: Women are clever. Don't mess with them!

The man had a heart attack ten times milder than his wife!!!

******

Therefore some woman think that she is smart - her husband have a heart attack 10 times milder than she...so 'she' die faster!

******

Actually the battle of the sexes have been going on for years. Men from Mars and Woman from Venus - humm.. I am looking at my brother who is hvg a gf now. I think he is more stress then relax..endless demands - it is better to give and take...Next time I beta b careful.

All the jiejies here, pls dun scold lalang. I am not being sexiest but I think we man give in as much as woman thinks they are gvg in. Can't stand the 'act cute' type. All the korkors here - is face very important to us man? Body?..alamak..I sure get killed. I like a simple, down to earth girl lah. Moderate look but must b able to link with me via 'mind' not just 'body' lah!

Enjoy weekend!

Hello sunflower aunty,

Enjoy your day with milubing.. you can see nic tonite.

Anonymous Anonymous | 28 April, 2007 10:07

Dear Mango n all Plants - I have an enjoyable evening. I had a hard time finding RP.. u knw lah this sua ku driving. I must find time to roam Singapore.

MLB is a WOW factor!. When I see the boys last nite, I know I missed them LOTS. When they sing, I lagi realized I missed them MILLIONS. This is the first time I see them again aft FIR gig - yes, tt long. I missed NIC's voice and guitar, Sam' sentimental/ romantic vocal, WeiQi's keyboard - on the whole the total MLB package. I knw I din support the wrong band and aft last nite.. it is being reconfirmed again.

The whole performance by various artists were good too. As I said in CS WeiLian's voice is heartpulling. When u hear him sing, it is like effortless. Here is one handicapped that we all can b proud off other den Stevie Wonder!

Wa! I love MLB to bits! Rating for the boys - 5 upon 5!!! YEAH!
BUT...sobz.z.z.z. I din go mob them at backstage...I am a matured fan ma! So must b a bit demure! He.e.e.e.e.e

To those who missed the show...MLB is good... good..good n OH! for a good course - I got extra paper-made swans and scorpions frm the people outside the door. Made by prison-mates in suppport of this Chours of Dreams charity show!

I will b out of town tomorrow nite n see u guys on 2.5.07. Keep the garden alive!

Thanks!!!!!

Hi lalang..wa, yr story is sexiest leh!...Woman kai su. We scared to lose our man... so we think we can hold our man if we are bimbos, got money and a little bit of health problem so that he 'xin deng' us ma.

I saw many guys friends - they know their gfs lousy but it is fated. 'bak si' still stick together. So yr bro's experience may not b yrs..

I agree..tt look is v important to a guy. I put a fat girl n a think girl - u pick who?
I put a pretty looking thing n a normal looking girl - who do u go for?

Brain? not brain but someone's character. Now ppl hide themselves so well. Got con den realized..too late liao!

Sorry..its is a fact. It goes for girls too. We got for the same factors and later found out that under all the handsome exterior - he is a terrorist! Aft all being said - LOVE is a learning curve? To ea his own...lah!

We always dream of the type we want..but we always end up the opposite - take it frm Sunflower.

To all those not attached - pls be pratical lah! Look at someone near to you, someone you can reach, someone who likes you - don go looking at a star that is so far n unreachable. Be pratical.

Good luck to LOVE!

Good Morning eveyone. Sorry we went missing. Over the weekend we went to Batam to catch up with Cedar's friends.

Cedar is back in office to collect some stuff to bringing back for work. I will be working from home as I hv 'unfinished' business.

Talking about working to death. It is how we want to live actually. Some think money and power is everything. Working in MNCs, drawing good pay, hvg high position but the price to pay is more than that.

Making music is also stressful, if you do music with competitions in mind. We can see how MLB was during SB.Although they are cooled abt the whole thing BUT who want to lose?

Therefore wat is HAPPINESS? Wat do we need from this world? To each his own as we hv different expectations and needs. But to sell away one's life is not worth it. Happiness can be a bowl of porridge plain...

Thanks Coconut and all..everytime we come back, it is so nice to know that our cyber friends are waiting.

Take care.....

Hey Plants..thanks for all the Birthday Wishes. I got plenty and felt so loved.

Thanks to all the plants here too. All your good wishes embraced by me liao. Put in my heart.

Welcome back, Willow and Cedar. So now a day you tag more den Cedar. How is work?

Talking about working to death...BB..the girl died already? The girl in your link above? OMG..why huh?

I lost a colleague too. Young, 35, attractive, single. We were both managers looking after operations. She take care of 5 outlets in Singapore and I oversees overseas operations. I tot I am hardworking. I worked till 9pm at night and keep muself away on Saturday and Sunday. But she works 365 days, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. When I returned to Singapore, I worked with her until 11pm at night, go home and next morning see her again. It went on. She fell sick. Initially she tot it is a fever, but she fevered for a week. She used her shawl plus mine which is wool and yet feel cold. She did not take MC. We nagged at her and when she saw a Doctor, it was cancer of the womb. We lost her 9 month into chemo. We saw her lost her beautiful long hair, lost flesh but she is still beautiful. It pained our heart. I cried lots when she passed on. I lost interest in my work and begin questioning WHY? I hated the company and I hated my Boss for pushing us all the time..and I know I have gone into a dead end. Fortunately for me I had a religion, I had friends and family and I came out of depression. I need to thank MLB too...bcos this is the time SB was on and I went to redirect my attention to support MLB and I was intensed abt it. I spent lots of money voting for MLB as I do not want them to go through the stress of competitions. I am so glad it was over and they won.

So much for the morning....

All plants.... Love yourself. All the pains, only you know. No one is an island, you cannot live alone but have good, sincere friends. People who take your best and your worst and standby you, believe in you. If you hold up your hand and you can count finger, your are Blessed! I can count at least fingers on one hand.

Hi Sunflower n the plants in this Garden. Looks like Willow is more 'on' den me. She already came in to tag.

Ya, I just got back from office. Collected some documents to bring back to China. Leaving tomorrow evening and looks like I am going to miss yet another charity gig by MLB.

BBreath..I came back and read papers that my parents saved for me...The girl you mentioned, she is on the front page Newpapers, right?

Now a day work is very stressful. Especially in Singapore. We have friends frm HongKong and they hold at least 3 jobs to meet their life style.

Sunflower..good that you snapped out of depression. Yes, we give in to our career. It is the competing mind that I must do well or reach a position by such and such age. You take it easy. From the way you tagged, I think you hv not fully recovered lossing your colleague. Thanks to MLB who took up your time so that you do not indulged in anger.

Coconut, rosemary are you duckling? and Pink Rose...and all.. keep this place warm like now. Hi to mango.

We are hoping to go to JuZaiKou next break so you will not see us for some time.....

Stay well my friends..tag here and speak yr mind and let go 'steam' so that you do not hurt your health.

Biebie!

Hi, Hi.. came in again to peep. Nice to see both lalang and Cedar. Howdy boys? One boi missing.

Yup.. Cedar. Thanks for concern. I went to the above link n left a condolence msg on her blog. Imagine she said she dun want to die and she did. I was wondering what sort of company is HP that so many ppl work until die? At least my Boss took off some of our weight and spread it to colleagues and she employed more people.

K.... Baby Breaths, once again ur Bdae msg is very sweet!

Willow and Cedar, I heard tt JuCaiGou is very beautiful... tell us more when you come back.

Have a good evening everyone!

Hi Plants..greeting you all with a heavy heart. Actually I lie very low in my company but dun knw why got classified as 'high potential'. Last night Boss said I hv to be seconded overseas to be attached to a mantor and to ran an operations to see whether I qualify to move up the next rank. Sincerely I really dun want....My heart is so heavy now.... I got one week to think...think.. think...

I either accept the posting or they will think I chicken out. Looks like I will be rolling around Middle East & Africa for the next 2 ot 3 years.

I am gg to miss MLB lor. Cannot attend their gigs in person. Gg to miss all the shows as well.

I am gg to miss in person Coconut, rosemary, pink rose, cocoa, and mango and lalang can still tag here ba.

Sigh! .....hopefully 船到桥头自然直.

I just bought a new car, think of selling my house and buy a nicer but smaller one, a whole series of travelling plans, NOW....all on HOLD!

Although my heart is heavy, I know that in life there is a reason why we have to be in a certain place and I will try to have a positive outlook de...

Please jiayou for me......

Hi Plants gd sunafternoon. Humm.m.m. not much activities here.

Oh Coconut, you are 'moving house' for your late sister. Hope after moving your family will have good luck.

On Friday night I went to a Gala Dinner.I won a diamond watch, a color n hairstyling from Kim Robinson, a $300 makan at the Blue Peranakan Restaurant. Am I lucky. The total price is costly and yet it is only the 8th prize.

Tonight the whole company is gg for the spiderman show. We booked the whole cinema at Orchard.

Tomorrow night another gala dinner - so this month is like party time.

You guys stay well. I will keep you all posted on my travel.

Hi Garden..rainafternoon! It is raining here at Bukit Timah.

Yes, BB - lets meet up. Friday night? Can we tok on msn.

Coconut, now tt u bring it up, I realized lots of things happened to me all at once.

I hv been immersing myself in a certain kind of sadness. Last year when my colleague died, my mum died, I began to find it hard to relate to people. I am so afraid to loose them and so scared to be closed to anyone. Bcos of this I have offended people but I know it is a phase I am going thru and I am not angry and still maintained the understanding of why people treated me that way ma... I am the cause and they are the effect.

So I pampered myself with lots of goodies like buying a car, started seeing friends again. Thank you for not giving up on me. It is only we who are feeling the needles piercing our hearts will understand.

Therefore I had lots of rainfall but the sun came out. So I accord this to my understanding of my actions and maintaining a kind hearts towards others. I am my nice self again, hee..e.e and happy self again. My Boss said she is sending e on holidays..haa.a.a.as if. She gave me 7 pages of 'things to do n report'...

So much bla bla bla frm me. If you gyz find me lor soh, please tell me hor. Bcos I see you all hv bn here with Garden so long n like family, I jus say anything I want.

Oh! MLB is hvg gig again. NTUC - my company not a member and we all cannot join union - if this needs membership, tixs etc. I will hv to give it a miss.

Stay well... all my lovely plants, fruits and wild plants!

Anonymous Anonymous | 09 May, 2007 22:03

hi Naturians, how's every1?

Sunflower - happy that u feel enlightened..haha, is it under a bodhi tree?

ya, agreed there is always a 'cause/effect/yung fen'..
only we can take care of ourselves n mke ourselves happy.. if u hv others to care n show concern for u, then is a bonus, but not a must.. we came to tis world alone..sometimes, is a long n lonely journey thru life.. but then is our karma..is gd to stop n reflect.. only then, can we c the pic clearly..n learn..we cannot always MILU!

The MORAL is:- IS HAPPIER TO GIVE IN WHATEVER FORM, IF U CAN, THAN TO WAIT TO REC IN VAIN..

Anonymous Anonymous | 10 May, 2007 20:20

"each of our troubles is a stepping stone.
We can get out of the deepest wells, by not stopping, never giving up, shaking it off and take a step up!"

Anonymous Anonymous | 11 May, 2007 02:23

Hello folks, you guys r COOL man. Lalang here. Sori dun say I sexist. All my Ah beng friends always sent me some funni story. I always post something and this time for the woman, girl, charbo and it is abt lousy males ... actually I agree to some although I am tarbo!

********
For all those men who say, Why buy a cow when you can get milk for free. Here's an update for you: Now days, 80% of women are against marriage, WHY? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a
little sausage.

1. Men are like .. Laxatives ..... They irritate the crap out of you.

2. Men are like.Bananas . The older they get, the less firm they are.

3. Men are like Weather . Nothing can be done to change them.

4. Men are like ....Blenders You need One, but you're not quite sure why.

5. Men are like ....Chocolate Bars .... Sweet, smooth, & they usually head right for your hips.

6. Men are llike ..Commercials ... You can't believe a word they say.

7. Men are like Department stores .. Their clothes are always 1/2 off!

8. Men are like ...... Government Bonds .... They take soooooooo long to mature.

9. Men are like ... Mascara . They usually run at the first sign of
emotion.

10. Men are like Popcorn ... They satisfy you, but only for a little
while.

11. Men are like Snowstorms .... You never know when they're coming, how many inches you'll get or how long it will last.

12. Men are like ..Lava Lamps ... Fun to look at, but not very bright.

13. Men are like Parking Spots All the good ones are taken, the rest are handicapped.

Now send this to all the remarkable women you know, as well as to any understanding good-natured, fun kinda guys you might be lucky enough to know !!

*****

Have fun...

Anonymous Anonymous | 11 May, 2007 16:48

Hi mango..thank you for postings. Every time I shake the tree, a mango dropped. This is very comforting and shows your support.

It is about work and since the company needs me to do so, I will do it. Now I do not need to be at one place for one year but I go for 2 months and come back for one month, so it is OK. But you won't see the last of me. I will post de.

I agree with you that Coconut postings in AK is always very profound and nice to read. She always tried to give a message for us to be good, look at life and be happy.

lalang, we cannot miss the tag is from you. You are one of the 'kind'. Funni Ah Beng.

K...you all enjoy your weekend.

Anonymous Anonymous | 12 May, 2007 09:58

hi morning naturians, enjoy yr weekend..

tks Sunflower, for the compliment..but cannot match yrs la..

hi 2morrow is Mother's Day.. May I wish in advance Mango tree & bb 'A VERY HAPPY & PROUD MOTHER'S DAY!"

3 CHEERS! to all mothers!

Anonymous Anonymous | 13 May, 2007 00:22

Hello garden.. sori late in posting. Went to Downtown East today. ONLY purpose is to see MLB. I think I am crazy...all the meimeis are not shouting and I went 'gaga'..I think Uncle Phil sitting next to be mus b embrassed. Ha.a.a.a. but everytime I see MLB.. I am so happy..

The songs are good man! The performance n music are great man. The bois looks great man. Nic got hair ler.. The system is good this time but vocally I can't hear the words clearly... aiya! nvr mind lah!

Left immediately aft tt bcos got to meet up with sis to visit mum at the temple. First year Mother's Day wo mum...sori..I am still sore abt loosing my beloved mum.

Oh!..to all Mothers here..Happy Mother's Day! Mothers are great. They carried us 10 months..all the discomfort, all the danger in carrying a child, when a child is born - all the sleepless nights in looking aft them. When they are sick, you carry them throughout the night. When they start to walk, when they start to say 'mama', when they go to school, when they graduate n start to work, when they bring home first boy/girl friend...the list goes on but the Mother's heart is always warm towards her own children. Therefore this is my tribute to all Mothers - whether they are around or gone..Mum, you are irreplacable ! To those with Mum...treasure your mum...to those wo..please remember them fondly.

I am not the best of daughter bcos I am the most pampered one. But to Mum I am her most precious child. I am sure all Mums's children are their most precious.

Good night plants!

hi Sunflower, every morning, when i opened my eyes, i thk God that i am still breathing.. so told myself must try to be happy everyday..must try to snap out of any moodiness or unhappiness quickly, cos TIME WAITS FOR NO MAN ..

present or no present.. it doesn't matter.. appreciation fm the hearts is valueless..but did recd a mug my my niece n nephew..with the words "Special Aunty - you're the best!"

sometimes, i wonder.. look at the ROSE.. is such a beautiful flower, that ppl love.. but it grows out fm a plant that is burdened with sharp thorns.. try holding on to the stem of the Rose.. n u may get hurt by the sharp thorns.. but still is much loved..

hv a plesant day naturians!

Harlo to the citizen of Garden, lalang here. Busi with sku but I did rushed to watch MLB at DTE. They were good. Bu kui shi fei chang Superband's winner. To think abt it..out of the four teams in final..only Lucify n MLB can be called a Band in the real sense.

Celebrated Mother's day ytd. I love my mum n she is v precious to me n dad. My mum said 'Son, the best present u can give me is to be SAFE. Stay SAFE. Don't do anything to break my heart n tt is the best present u can give me.'

Everytime she reads abt children losing their lives, she cried for the Mothers. My dad n me some time pretend we din see lah. But I know she loves me lots and I will take care of myself de. So all plants here - no matter how old u r, stay safe for yr parents - be it they are around or gone.

Sunflower - what a waste, gg to Malacca, without eating the nonya food there is like u hv not been to Malacca..

hi naturians, just sharing some statements i came across, which i think is helpful to us..

"Never listen to negative words because they take your most wonderful dreams away from you.
ALWAYS be POSITIVE!"

Anonymous Anonymous | 23 May, 2007 10:10

Hello folks, today I won post aft tis cos I hv to go out n see clients.

Coconut, u r right. To answer :

1) I ate nonya food for lunch at Malacca. Shop at Jonker Street, Eat Ho Kee chicken rice, eat chandol, visit Giant Bee etc. I tot save the crap cos u all may not be interested ma!

2) Yes, I agree. We all need to hv a positive mind. Most of the time we care too much abt wat ppl say abt us. We become unhappy bcos of all these external factors and let them distrub our inner peace.

Easier said than done hor. It is learning hw to accept without being personal.

Runing.........

Hi garden,

.. gg to Malacca, without eating the nonya food .... is me leh..

Colleague drive, so.. just followed. one of the girl all the way kept mention abt nonya food but at last we didnt eat.. dont know why..

Jonker street, maritime museum... nothing much. ya, buy alot tibbits..

Next day, all the way drive to kukop just for a late lunch then back to Sgp.. worth it?

wish everyone here hv a nice weekend!

Anonymous Anonymous | 27 May, 2007 01:48

hi Mango tree.. sometimes is de companionship that matters.. i am sure u enjoy the drive n the company of yr friends that made the trip worthwhile..

however, next time mke it a pt to try the nonya food, sambal kangong, chicken rice balls with de steam soups.. satay celup, de hot fiery portugese debra curry(can only get at de portugese settlement)..etc.. or get yrself a pair of nonya beaded sandals..

agree with u.. jonker street is nothing much nw.. compared to yrs ago.. but still some activities if u go there after 7pm during the wkend.. plenty of pasar malam stalls..

so for yr next visit to MLC.. give yrself plently of time to wander around esp.climb up St.Paul's Hill. the souvenirs shops at the studhuys/red square..& those opposite the Makhotar Parade..etc .. k de list goes on.. better stop la.. gd nite

Hi planty..this is lalang. Long time no see. I left for KL n came back last nite. Howdy?

Sunflower, you gg away? So sudden? U will still come here, rite?

Life in KL is eating, eating and eating. We went to GH and I enjoyed all the outdoor fun park.

Read abt the killing of the Mogolia lady and it is sad to be killed and even more pitiful to be blown apart. How can ppl b so cruel. What is this world becoming. My family is a mix..some toaist, some buddhist, some catholic, some Christain..but it is not the religion..it is the preaching of kindness....

K...I will come again de!

Anonymous Anonymous | 05 June, 2007 16:16

Lalang welcome back..can you throw some dun here? We need u to keep the Garden sane...

Looking aft 2 dogs now. Sis went to Canada. They r so cute and clever n they understand what I say. I will nvr keep pet.. my heartache if I go out n lv them at home all alone.

K... hv to run...

Hi..Garden

Willow n Cedar here. Came back for medical check and post this article for info n reading..

This is a very good article about the warm water after your meal, n about heart attacks. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals, not cold water, maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating.
For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this "sludge" reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.
A serious note about heart attacks - You should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.
You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know, the better chance we could survive.
A cardiologist says if everyone who reads this message sends it to 10 people, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life. Read this & Send to a friend. It could save a life. So, please be a true friend and send this article to all your friends you care about.

So do tell your friends abt it

Hello to Sunflower, hello to Coconut and all plants. Good to be back aft 'so'long. Tis time we went to JiuZai Kou. It is beautiful. However the journey is exciting. We flew by a small plane and up in the sky, one of the window cracked. We have to throw away excess babagges to make sure the plane steadied itself. The scenery is breathtaking. It is like a 丗外桃园.I heard the current shen diao xia nu was shot here.

A side from that, Sunflower you hav confirmed the date of travel. May you enjoy and have fun. Promotion is something not that you want you get it. It has to do with your performance as well. When we first met you, we both felt that you hv the calibre to make it to the top. Nothing to do with look but your personality and big heartedness. It has something to do with how you carry yourself. If you are not there, means you are not there. So...accept it graciously cos we believe you work hard. To be able to be recognised by TOP is not an easy task. Jiayou!

Cococnut,Mango n all, you all hv bn v encouraging. Good Garden..n good plants!

Hi All, gd afternoon. Came back from medical checkups. Blood test and all the test took us until 1pm. Willow is doing on top of all the tests her woman tests so she is still in hospital. Do not worry as it is a routine required by our company. I have a bit of blood pressure so I have to start jogging again.

What happen to the Garden, where is everyone?

Anonymous Anonymous | 08 June, 2007 17:55

Hello Plants.. sori MIA. Very busy. Lots of handing over, corporate meetings and therefore negelected Garden.

Hellow Cedar and Willow. Welcome back. Without you teh Garden is indeed quiet.

Thanks for encouragement. Yes, I will do my best. Have you been to Lijiang? It is high right? Some of my colleagues cannot take the height and they have headache. The higher it is the thinner the air. My Boss is a bit apprehensive to send me there because she is afraid I may not be able to take the height.

Hellow folks.. do come in and warm the Garden. BB is out of town as she has gone on a curise. Where are the others?

It is weekend again. Half a year has gone by. How time flies and we have no control over it. Make the most everyone.

Enjoy your time with your love ones.

Cheers!

Garden..Garden..I am counting down. I always look fwd to o/seas postings but aft my return till now 2 years ler n I dun feel like travelling ler. 'Procastinate' is the word. Lalang yr English chim-ma-logy..I keep telling myself I mus pack but still holding it off.

Hey, I went to Eighteen Chefs. Ned to eat and was a last min. Support shifu ma. Saw the wall painting by WeiQi - very mechanical. It is like a mechanical food production line. Notice the 'cuff' on one of the figure. Therefore it is like a 'yellow' ribbon haunt.

Mango, Mango my childhood was spent watching the iron horse pulling oil out of the ground. I spent lots of time on the beach and also with my sister muslim/Malay adopted family. There is this starchy thingy, it looks like glue...we dip our chopsticks into it and roll it and then dip into the fish asam soup and put it in our mouth. A bit spicy for kids like us but we enjoyed the burning sensation.

Use to visit granny and her famous dish is 'fart soup'. Yes! when it is cooking it smell like fart and you run 10 miles away but when you drink it, the taste is fantastic. There are plenty of ingredient in the soup and it has a sour sng sng taste. Very appetizing!

When I go KL... I always eat wantan mee, wantan mee n more wantan mees.

Coconut.. it is OK. We all have our commitments. Come when you hv time. I am very happy with the garden citizens... there are the best!

Rosemary thanks for the gifts. Pink Rose I called you but you probably using another number. BBreaths, do continue to come here. Willow and Cedar, Mango mama and Xiaodi...Lalang....tulip..

MLB jiayou! Guyz keep me inform if the EP is out...

It took me quite some times to find this garden & finally join in as a new plant (bird of paradise~天堂鸟).
Hopefully I shall feel like this is a new home for me! :-)

Hi Lalang,
Thanks for your compliment on my name & also welcoming 天堂鸟 to this garden.
As for whether I am a guy/gal, think it is not right for me to disclose it here, right? But I think you maybe know who am I (from the way you wrote)?
Yes, I knew that The Head of State (Sunflower) is currently out station. Perhaps she is watching us at a far corner! Hahaha
I shall try to get to know more about the rest of the plants here in the near future. I am glad & happy to find this warmth garden. :)

Oops, you are new here too! And you are not a fan of MLB? It was your fren (who is a fan of MLB) who brought you to this garden. Btw, which plant is your fren?

Oh, a late good morning to all plants here. Weekend is just around the corner, enjoy yourselves and have a super wonderful weekend.

Just for fun..

A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales.

The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was very small.

The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale.

Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible.

The little girl said, "When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah".

The teacher asked, "What if Jonah went to hell?"

The little girl replied, "Then you ask him ".

A big hello to all plants in the Garden. I am so happy to see you all here and having fun.

I know who is BOP too bcos I invited him here. All three of us did - coconut, rosemary and me!

Ha.a.a. sorry I MIA. This plc is ulu. It is only in the hotel that we hv internet line and I have nothing at where I live.

Time flies, 2 weeks ler. Another two more weeks and I will be in Maldives. I missed home, my siblings and friends.

Over here is work and work and nothing to do but work.

All of you, keep up your good work. Keep this garden alive.

Thanks..planty.. all those that missed me... I missed all of you too...so you all take care.

Coconut, I only know of Ishi's death aft reading here. I will go post a condolence to his site. I think SOUL must be devasted. I am sad for his parents too. What is there that cannot be solved?

So lets take a lesson from here, lets always support each other. Planty, post and say anything here. If you need help please say so. This world is getting colder as people do not have time for friends not listen to them - we love ourselves too much.

Good to be posting again. May not be able to come in often but when I have the opportunity I will.

Oh! Congratulation to MLB... Album coming out soon! I am sure all fans are madly excited!

Stay well all my friends!

BB from Campus Superstar tabloid site blog abt the boys!

http://u.mediacorptv.com/css2/tabloid.htm

MiloBeng with Campus SuperStar!
06 July, 2007 17:54

Milo-beng or Milubing is really my favorite SuperBand and a good role model for all our Campus SuperStar. They don’t just sing, they know how to play excellent instruments and they compose super nice songs and very very nice chaps in real life.

If any of the Campus SuperStar is thinking that the whole competition process is very tiring and draining your life force, you don’t deserve to win. Unlike solo singing, you have to do so much more like coordinating your time and work as a team and invent new musical arrangement to the choice of your song week after week (plus they are not as lucky as Campus SuperStar, they have to reserach and pay for their own clothes). The pressure was alot tougher in SuperBand but Milubing never gave up their passion.

Nic, the lead singer and guitarist is not only the most handsome but super talented. You are very wrong if you think Nic is some kind of a rebellious fellow… He is very sensitive and romantic. He started playing the guitar and singing Spanish song ‘El Condor Pasa’ at the age of 5! The super nice hit song ‘TEARS’ is written by Nic. Nic graduated from Jurong Secondary School & School of Audio Engineering. He is now serving his NS and looking even more shuai with his NS hair-cut. Have you seen Nic singing and playing the electric guitar? Cool man!

Drummer Sam is another cutie. This is one of the most polite gentlemen I have ever come across (the other one is Nathaniel Tan of Project SuperStar 2). Like Nic, Sam also composes and sings. Sam is more of a ‘sentimental song’ person whereas Nic can do rock (yah, Zijie, if you are reading this, you are hopelessly lost in rock). He picked up drum during his secondary school days. He can play the piano and guitar too. Sam is also a good chef…sweet isn’t it? He graduated from St Andrews junior and secondary schools and he just finished NS and now concentrating on music.

Weiqi – Leader, Keyboradist & Vocal, the ultra artistic guy who is also a ‘beat-box’ expert started playing the piano at age 3! He is also very good with the Chinese flute. Weiqi graduated from Cedar Primary School, Chung Cheng High (Main) and Temasek JC. His artistic portfolio earned him a place now at NTU’s School of Art, Design and Media.

I am so very happy that their 1st album is out today and managed to buy one this afternoon. The CD is very nice with most of the songs written by the boys about friendship, love, hope and courage. This a must-buy album and easily at the top of my favorite CD of all time. I do hope if you all can go and check it out. Good music should be shared and promoted.

By the way, you can bring along your Milubing’s debut album and get them to sign on it at Jurong Entertainment Centre (15/7), Bishan Junction 8(22/7)and Bukit Panjang Plaza(28/7). Milubing will also be performing on Ch 8’s SPD Charity Show next Sunday at 7pm together with Campus SuperStar Top 8!

Blogger 天堂鸟 | 11 July, 2007 16:34

Yes Sunflower, I will try my very BEST to shoot the songs from MLB's album to TOP of the chart at Yes933. But I need more support from all the plants here & MLBians at the main blog to help push MLB's songs to the TOP. MLBians must votes likes what we used to votes during the Superband season & of course the Grand Final.
To be frank, its not an easy task. Cos this month got so many famous artistes realeasing their album too (they are Jay, Lee Hom, Andy Lau, JJ Lin, Cinndy etc....) Hahaha...
